This Clearwater Beach resort is opposite the intracoastal waterway and 6 minutes’ walk from Clearwater Beach. Guests will enjoy an outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi. A cable TV, microwave, and a small refrigerator are in each standard guestroom at the Sandman Resort. All rooms are simply decorated with wood furnishings. Suites feature a fully-equipped kitchen. Guests of the Clearwater Sandman Resort can relax at the private fishing dock or prepare a meal using the barbecue facilities. An on-site launderette is offered for added convenience. The Clearwater Marine Aquarium is less than 2 miles from the resort. Guests will be 3 miles from Caladesi Island State Park and 7 minutes’ walk from the shops, restaurants, and street performers of Pier 60.

I loved the location and view. I live locally, however I have never stayed at Clearwater Beach. The view was beautiful! I sat outside for the longest time just enjoying the cool breeze and the view. It was also very quiet. Thank you for a great experience. We were quite impressed with how stocked the room was with vacation needs ex. Plates, silverware, cups, even a can opener! Was a great deal and the staff was really friendly.

Older property that has been well maintained. It has a retro Florida feel Great location. It's like stepping back in time. It's a good thing. Clean, comfortable and quiet. It was dated and a bit run-down. Two out of four of the lights in the room didn't work and when I ran the shower there was a sewage smell. Has not been updated in a very long time. Furniture is damaged by age and weather and needs to be replaced. We also found a huge roach in the bathroom. We do realize it is part of Florida living but it was huge! The guest laundry facility was disgusting. The hotel was old and rundown......picture was not accurate,,,,,,,. Very rundown, if going to continue renting should upgrade and paint. A coat of paint does amazing things. no shampoo, no hairdryer, no kettle, no tea/coffee,. Room was old - but clean. I also feel I was overcharged. letsbookhotel.com told me the 1 br was $119.00 per night. We elected to stay there and not the 2 br unit for the 2nd & 3rd nights but still paid $420 ( We were quoted $440 for 3 nights in the 2 bd). room was small bed was uncomfortable pool was very dirty no coffee for coffeemaker. I liked the fact that it's an old hotel but it needs to be updated to reflex the character of that time. The place is very old, outdated. There were cockroaches in the bathroom and on the walls. We slept with the lights on. Would not stay there again. We would of left but it was a Saturday night and there were no open rooms any where else. It was truly a "roach motel". Roaches and ants everywhere. Very dirty. Foul odor. Poorly maintenanced. very disappointing. Very expensive for accommodation offered. Badly in need of upgrade. Dirty, old, paint chipping off. Our room smelled of urine. Floors felt gritty when walking barefoot. A/C was very noisy!. itMy son was there for his prom.Him and his friends decided to get ready together but the hotel did not allow visitors...The photos on the site are not at all what the hotel looks like..It is not a resort it is a very low bugdet place. The hotel manager as well as employees where very rude and actually was saying things to my young children about throwing them out!!.
