The Hyatt Regency certainly was a big part of making our vacation so enjoyable. Chicago people are friendly, obviously proud of their city and eager to make visitors feel welcome.

The hotel was nice, walking distance to Soldier Feild. I compared rates with another large booking company, and letsbookhotel.com was cheaper. I will definately book through them again!

But they put us up across the street the first night for free and upgraded us to a suite the second night. The beds and bedding were really comfortable, loved the soft ribbed blankets and we didn't hear people talking through the walls.   From the first moment we entered the staff was friendly and helpfull. The location is exellent, 8min walk to the L. Clark street which is full of pubs and restaurans just 2min. 2 cinema's are in walking distance. The hostel is great, whether if you're in a dorm or private room. We were in a half/half. Free dinner on sun - At check-in the staff was extremely helpful and, when no parking spots were available, they showed where to find free parking and then another ramp to park as well. The events hosted by the hostel were outstanding as well, the pub crawl, evening grill out, and the Hawks parade viewing of course. Overall, this hostel is straightforward and simple, no tricks, in a fun and happening Lincoln Park neighborhood, and I know this is my new go to place to stay when I return to Chicago for future trips.
