Unfairly or not, I was (pleasantly) surprised at the cleanliness and updated look of my room. Given the quality of the room, and the date of my stay (Friday night of Labor Day weekend), this was an excellent value. Definitely recommended for budget travelers. Just a short drive in to Carlsbad. You can park for free in downtown and walk around to all the shops or go lay on the beach. The beaches in Carlsbad are beautiful.

The room was very nice and clean. It had a microwave and refrigerator. I didn't use the pool but it looked like it would be good for a little dip. Verry good place to enjoy with family,my kids they love it, the staff verry nice they help you anything good location. Accomodations were very clean and appealing. Staff was super friendly and accommodating!. The room looked like it was recently renovated and the crown molding was beautiful. their friendly service, they made my stay very comfortable. The staff was friendly and it was close to Carlsbad beach. The staff was wonderful and considered our needs. The price was good for the quality. Clean and friendly place. Cheap and clean. Reasonable rates, two nights close to beach on holiday weekend $250. Slept 5, two queens, and a single, not too bad if your just looking for a place to sleep. Last minute, it was fine. It was an ok place to spend a night, the pool was nice, good value for money, room clean, wifi worked good. The staff was amazing and so great to work with. Located near highway. Ask for back building, otherwise its noisy. Not much. I slept pretty good. Economical. Price is cheaper. Nothing. The complimentary breakfast consisted of some pastries and coffee. No tea, no fruit or cereal. Very poor. Nothing that I didn't like, but there was a person checking out with family that gave the owner a very hard time and was so rude. I believe he said that he was a police officer. The owner was very courteous despite all that was going on. The receptionist could have been more friendly. I thought the breakfast should have included some type of cereal and/or oatmeal instead of just danish and coffee. The beds were not comfortable!. My hot tub did not work :(. Motel is located very close to highway and the noise is all the time - after 1 day you get used to that ;). Bit noisy. Someone below us was smoking. Should freshen up breakfast, maybe put some tongs out so people aren't touching muffins and croissants. It was terribly noisy from the highway running next to the hotel, though we were very tired and did sleep all right, it was pretty disturbing. No hot tub. Shoot be a none smoking room walk in smell smoke it was bad. Ask the front desk for different room none avalable. - very loud (right next to a busy freeway) - very early check-out. No breakfast at all (but was offered), washed off linen, blanket with burnout. Room was way smaller than the picture made it look. Carpets were worn. Dent in the flatscreen TV. Noise from the freeway was awful. Continental breakfast was kind of a joke. No milk, juice, and a few muffins / pastries. Too close to the hi way & noisy The manager was a bit snarly ie did not try to accommodate and only spoke to those he seemed to like. The included continental breakfast was terrible....the kicker was powdered milk in packets! The only good thing was the diluted OJ...or was it oj??. Just besides the high way so very very noisy. Unless you turn on the air conditioner otherwise you can not go to sleep. Breakfast is so simple. A glass of juice and several cakes or deserts, no bread!. They were extremely rude. My son got very sick and they wouldn't help us get new sheets or new towels. We will Never stay there again. Not family friendly at all.
