Hotel 140 is located only a 5-minute walk from the rear exit of Back Bay Railroad Station. Upon arrival I had taken the train from Springfield, MA. I followed the drive where the local buses pull into Back Bay Station right out to Clarendon Street and bore left. I had just a half-block walk from that point to the front entrance of the hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. All staff particularly shuttle drivers , concierge and receptionists were extremely helpful and welcoming. The Hotel was clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was excellent and they continued to replenish the food until closing time. I heard they also do free Dinner Buffets during the week.

The bed was very comfortable. We lived the warm cookies at check in. The staff was very helpful with directions and knowledgable of the area. The short distance to the T was also a plus. -
This hotel was a convenient, comfortable place to rest up in the middle of a very long trip. It had everything we needed for that brief stopover.

Great suite, Breakfast buffet well organized and lots of options
(would have liked some cheese or meat though). Nice Indoor swimming pool. Great location:15 minutes from downtown including walking to subway station, 5 minutes walk from/to car rental facility with 9 major companies, 5 minutes from airport terminals with hotel shuttle and no noise from airport.

I loved the front desk staff. They were extremely helpful, helping us understand the train routes. The shuttle service was excellent, always on time. The morning breakfast was outstanding, many choices and different hot food each morning. I loved the turkey sausage. The room was beautiful and very clean. The cleaning staff did a great job each

It was close to the airport, the shuttle picks you up, drops you off. The shuttle also works to take you to a local target and/or to the closest metro station. The room was pretty large, the hotel also has a laundromat (besides the regular laundry service for hotel prices) which you have to pay for 1,5$ for washer and 1,5$ for dryer. But I did appreciate it and did my own laundry -- it was cheaper than have it done at the regular hotel laundry service.

Excellent location. Great to have breakfast included in the price-cereal/pancakes/toast/fruit/bacon/eggs/waffles. Would definitely stay again. Beds very very comfortable. Stayed for 5 nights including Saturday. Was very quiet every night except saturday it was busier in the restaurants underneath and a little noisy. We slept through it but if you area a light sleeper ask for a room at the back. The view of the street is lovely though so we kept our street-facibg room and the other nights wer

The hotel is within walking distance to the train/underground system. it wasnt as close to the ballpark as i would have liked but short distance on the train. Facility is not a five star by any means but is great for the fact that it is in the city and all the hotels are quite expensive in this area. -

Loved the Inn itself. The design and decor were beautiful. My husband and I got the One Bedroom Suite and it was so spacious with a fully stocked kitchen (yes, you can cook an enitre meal), comfortable bed as well as furnishings. Large, good looking and comfortable room with a very good bed and convenient kitchen equipment. Nice location in the heart of the Back Bay area of Boston.
Very nice and friendly crew, particularly understanding and caring when we exposed our noise problem in the first room we were assigned.
The small breakfast room remains accessible at all time in the day enabling us to grab a tea or a coffee whenever we felt like having one.
