We loved the Deerfield Lodge. The owners, Robin and Eric, were terrific hosts to us and our pooch. The hotel is so clean and beautifully decorated. We sat at the fire pit nightly and were always offered wine and our pooch a treat! It is walking distance to the lake and downtown. We loved the Deerfield Lodge so much, we're going back in a month

Abbey was a great resource for info about Lake Tahoe. She helped us know many different things to do. The room is spacious and clean. The location is perfect, close to everything. We enjoyed the free bottle of wine and extra treats in the room. The site has a nice patio area for visiting and relaxing.

Kitchen was great! There is a FREE GE Profile washer and dryer on each floor. They also have laundry detergent in your room. They do not have cribs only pack n plays. Bring your own sheet or ask for a small one from housekeeping. They didn't bring one and the mat was questionable. -

Room was clean and stuff is really friendly and helpful. Room was equipped with all sorts of personal items like shampoos, lotions, deodorants etc. We were allowed to make late check out and that helped a lot since we came in late.
So this is a nice family operated hotel.
I would recommend the hotel to other travelers if only they would stay in

Very nice and friendly staff with good recommendations for South Lake Tahoe and the area in general. I would definitely stay here again. It's of course a hostel place so not the highest standard available, but it's well worth the price and it's conveniently located close to both the sea and the state border.

and comfortable with fridge and coffee maker. Sitting area was good too.

The Alpenrose was doing some repairs for a bigger reception but they gave us the room at the opposite place to disturb us as less as possible and they upgrade for a room with fireplace very confortable in novembre...The staff was really nice with us, telling us where to go around. The room was simple but very clean.

Room was very nice, clean, comfortable and had everything you need. Nice balcony with a great view of the lake. Fireplace in the room. Great location on the lake and close to things in town. Staff very nice and helpful. -

The proximity to the State line provided easy walking distance to shops
both on the California & Nevada side. There were several
restaurants within walking distance. Granted, I visited in the start of
Summer...not sure how well that would go over in Winter. All-in-all,
the Staff was friendly and helpful of any inquiry I had about local
events

We loved the Rustic and funky look of the hotel from the moment we arrived! It felt warm and inviting and we were pleasantly suprised by the size and layout of the rooms. 968 Park perfectly fits the vibe of Tahoe: staff is laid back and always helpful. I can't say enough nice things about the entire staff - they were always prepared to give helpful advice and recommendations no matter the question, esp. tasty restaurants. Location is fantastic, in the warm months you can walk to quite a lot. Best beds and softest sheets in town.

friendly and helpful. The room with two bathrooms was exceptionally
nice, clean and comfortable. Excellent access to Harvey's and a

it is best place for family with young kids and aged people. I booked 3 luxury rooms with comfortable bed and two bathrooms. Uh, the price is not good , but it is OK at the labor day. It is Very quiet and clean. However, I will come back.
