  staff was helpful, location was convenient thanks to bus 52 to UC and bas 51B at 5 block. we could have breakfast in the room thanks to the coffee machine which was provided. for people going to UC for conferences or similar i strongly suggest to avoid the expensive hotels usually suggested by the academic facilities and choose a cheaper one which... cosa dice la gente » is very well connected to the campus - The price is the main selling point, but location is great and room was plenty big, clean and everything worked well inside. There is a fridge, microwave, cable flat screen tv. Even though it's old, it has been nicely kept up and looks charming in an old California style. We walked to 4th street shops and great parks nearby.
