Amazing location, right next to Disneyland and the Anaheim convention center. Very friendly nice staff...large double room with very comfy beds, easy parking. Spanish style 3 story motel with outside elevator, very convenient and easy. Pleasant restaurant with very sweet friendly waiters and waitresses. Enjoyed the close proximity to Disneyland and the convention center. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the service was good the staff was friendly. Although the power went out on our last day the hotel staff handled it well and gave us access to another room so that I could use the blow dryer.

I loved my entire experience and have already recommended this hotel to a friend. It totally made my trip staying here!!! Extremely happy and satisfied. The restaurant staff was excellent, personable, efficient and professional. Loved Juan, Andrea, Marie and many others. Loved the proximity to the Convention Center. Easy walk. good thing since there was no shuttle. The bed was comfortable. We sleep on a Temperpedic at home and usually have a hard time sleeping in hotels, because the mattresses are so uncomfortable. We slept well, the bed was very comfortable. Very convenient location adjacent to Disneyland allowing walking access to the parks. Laminate floors avoids rug smells of many hotels. Very helpful and attentive staff. I've stayed in many hotels, but this hotel had the best shower ever. Sounds odd, but in addition to a lovely hotel experience, I'd return just to use that shower again!. Loved the pool. Loved the room. Loved the bed. Loved the shower. Loved the location. Loved the Tangerine restaurant. Loved the Tropical Hotel grounds. It was nice not enough info about cost of resort. Resort fees. Parking to expenses never payed that much in New York.downfall parking fees. Too high. I liked that it was a spacious and mostly clean room, and the pool area was nice for my teen. Close to nearby Disneyland Parks.Closeness to Disney Land,. nothing. Dinner at restaurant was a bit overpriced but breakfast very good and well priced. Parking was an issue. Always had to park very far away from our hotel room because the lot was full. The power went out on our last day. I didn't like that there wasn't free wifi, I felt very out of touch even though I was on holiday! And I had to pay to get into the office to print maps of places we wanted to go. Room was very dark. Bathroom was small and awkward. Location of room was near housekeeping staff area and they were loud in the early morning... Facilities are aging but well maintained. No tub just a shower. I didn't love the price for parking. I didn't like the gap underneath my door leading to the outside...prime for bugs to come crawling through. Not a small gap, either. Also didn't like the front desk staff -- everyone I encountered at that desk was not especially friendly and some just plain rude! Also, the Anabella does not have free Wi-Fi. Slow service when restaurant was not busy. Some customers appeared to have breakfast included with their bookings. I've stayed there before and preferred the set up of the other room with the small love seat sitting area. A 20 minute wait to get a table for breakfast when there was a number of clear tables however not enough staff to move people through. Just took far too long to reset tables, suggest you get people seated and cutlery will follow when required!!!. A representative from Windham was very misleading and pushy in offering 'welcome gift' and 'Disney dollars'. Good thing I caught on and ended our 'captivity' before agreeing to sign up for breakfast. Felt like a scam for sure. Parking needs improvement. Horrible internet service. 3Rd Party Wifi internet did not work with my family's computers. Had to opt for a personal hotspot instead. Still charged for the hotel wifi even though it did not work. Lack of microwave, stocked.refrigerator. Pushing timeshares. No fans in bathroom. The maid service was slow on our last day there. They got there at 6 when we just arrived. It was ver annoying. We had garbage that needed to be thrown out. So we just set it outside our door. Since we were checking out in the early am. Could hear the next door neighbor kids. Shower head is high and doesn't mive. Shower water pressure was bad. I also would have liked free Wifi and there was very little parking but yet you charged for it, if you get the concierge suit parking and Wifi should be free. Room was a bit dated. Desk chair. need to be real careful, it is a little light weight. Bartenders need assistance, cleaning, when bar is busy, food was average, expected a little better. Wifi expensive. I asked for 2 queen beds & got 1 with a day bed & roll-away. Walls are real thin. Kids upstairs were running back & forth, next door you could hear the families conversation crystal clear. our room had a fan that did not work; the street noise was very bad - my husband did not get any sleep our first night there; we had to request a room change; i had to use earplugs to sleep; there was a cockroach in the bathroom;the main pool was closed to the hotel guests (the kids really wanted to swim in that pool). Size of room for money, extra fees for 2nd parking space per day. My $212 room was small and ended up costing me $370. Put in the room right next to the housekeeping staff room, it was really noisy. The room is very small. Upon registering at the hotel we were approached by sales personal to sit and listen to their property management people for the following day. This guy would not give up. Older hotel so you hear everything going on in rooms next to you. (Water running, people on floor above you walking around). Had to pay for parking was not told about that when I booked or when I called the hotel personally and asked about parking. No air condition in second room,took them to long to check air but found out there wasn't no air installed! The room reminded. E of the Super 8 but over priced. The first night was nice at the Desert Palm due to the Annabella flood.....horrible. hotel seems to be falling out of repair...slow drains,worn floors,dirty walkways and stairs. late night noise...all above seem to be getting worse each stay. Hotel room occupied was not similar to pictured room. Not value for money as advertised. Have to pay extra for parking. Hotel needs renovation. Wallpapers are falling off. Hotel needs to be re-rated. The room displayed on web site was a king size and we did not want a clumsy suite which we were shoved into. The extra costs were suppose to be included and were suddenly not included. It the classic bait and switch. Sheets on bed smelt damp. Bathtub was clogged . Service at Tangerine was poor. Waited for 30 minutes and no food . Had to leave to go to park. . everything.
