Sue the owner was brilliant and really welcoming. The garden and sunroom
were great and unlike hotels we've stayed at where we were too
uncomfortable to use the facitilities, Sue made us feel really at home
and we really enjoyed lounging in the sun. The Stone room itself was
amazing and on par with other high end hotels we've stayed at. The
bar was well stocked and operated an honesty policy and also Sue was
happy to help us out with taxi and dinner reservations. The breakfast
was also one of t. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Everything about Littlebeck is fantastic. It is a beautiful place, well decorated, clean and relaxing. A lot of effort has been made to create this and has excellent attention to detail. Luxury at it's best! The wooden bathtub is fantastic! Your every needs are catered for. The service is superb; Sue is a very gracious, helpful, friendly and obliging lady and you are made to feel very welcome. The food is also wonderful; we thoroughly enjoyed our delicious breakfast before a long journey home a.
From the moment we booked our stay at Littlebeck Warren we were blown away with the welcome we received. This is a jewel, and we have been lucky enough to find it. Fantastic friendly run luxury accommodation. The attention to detail in the rooms were second to none. We had the Copper Room, uber romantic, stylish and chic.
The dwelling was impeccably clean throughout and the small details like goody bag when we left and the honesty bar, relaxing garden to sit in, all added to a wonderful stay th.
My partner had booked the Littlebeck Warren as a surprise and wow! -
what a surprise ineed..we were delighted by the allocation of 'The
Copper Bathroom' and totally impressed by the whole style, design
and ambience of Sue's vision. From the lovely subtle finishing
touches such as the honesty bar, the iced bottled fresh orange in the
morning to the complimentary travel home goody bag at the end of our
stay. Our romantic break was a simply peaceful, quiet and perfect
escape. We will certainly ret.
Sue, and the rest of the staff were very accommodating to all our needs.
I asked for the copper room, a bottle of prossecco on arrival, window
seat in the restaurant, and all this was catered for! The copper room
bedroom is so luxurious, and the bath is absolutely amazing. Its
massive! The hotel itself is small and quaint, and all the furniture and
decoration is very well designed. The hotel itself is very clean. I
cannot recommend this hotel enough! 10 out of 10.
We came here for our honeymoon, we felt very welcomed by Sue and her
team. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious with an amazing bathroom
and super kingsized bed. The breakfast was fantastic, fresh fruit,
pastries and a hearty full English. Sue was also very friendly and
helpful, showed us around the relaxing conservatory and bar. We had a
very relaxed weekend and will definately come back next year. Highly
recommend to friends and family.
Staff, especially the chef, Matt, were very friendly and couldn't do more to make our stay enjoyable.
Also, the goodie bag for our journey at the end was a lovely touch.
Sue was very flexible about times of arrival, and though we didnt need a different one, it was an appreciated option.
Food was delicious, and the room was beautiful. Would definitely recommend this B&B, and would love to stay again...thanks to all of you.
As a business traveller, Littlebeck Warren was a lovely alternative to an impersonal chain hotel. Rooms and communal spaces were clean, very comfy and inviting. Sue is super friendly without being overbearing and makes you feel very welcome - nothing is too much trouble. Her homemade food was delicious as well. I would definitely stay here again for leisure or business and will recommend to friends and family.
It is a gem, very comfortable, the staff were brilliant, the owner was very friendly, sue always made a point in the morning in coming to say hello. The breakfast and diner were excellent, Mathew the chef excelled himself, it is very good value for money. My husband and i needed a relaxing break, time to unwind and recharge the batteries. Littlebeck warren fitted the bill perfectly.
My stay at Littlebeck Warren exceeded my expectations. The place is very luxurious, decorated and maintained to a very high standard. Both the evening meal and breakfast were cooked to perfection. Standards of cleanliness were exceptional and staff were friendly and helpful. A lot of thought has gone into making a stay there special and this was reflected throughout.
A little gem of a place, lovely hospitality by sue and her staff, cosy
honesty bar bar, fabulous decor with those added touches ,I had the wood
room -wot a bath and the food menu was top notch, nothing too much
including a packup,(adults only I believe) ive told all our reps who
cover cumbria, expect a visit from them all. Ill be back. A gem !!!!!.
Littlebeck Warren is charming, clean, fresh and spacious. Sue, the owner is very friendly and welcoming. The meals were exceptional and good value, all prepared in-house by her chef. Immediate surrounding area is peaceful with a farm at the end of the lane. Littlebeck Warren very easy (with sat nav) to find and roads not too busy.
What a superb find. This great place is lovely. Can't recommend it
highly enough. Food was superb compliments to the chef. I stayed in the
copper room. My colleague stayed in the Stone room. We were both
overwhelmed at how nice it was and for the price it is well undervalued.
Should be £90+ Definitely return again.
I loved the detail that had gone into making your stay a pleasure We stayed in the stone room .The bedroom and bathroom were beautiful and so was the dining room .it was warm and friendly and Sue the manager and staff were very welcoming. We will definitely be going back to try another of her fab rooms.
Sue, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming and happy to cater for any need. The accommodation was beautifully decorated, helping us to relax completely! We loved the themed rooms and look forward to staying again in different rooms. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and variation.
The welcome was warm and friendly, the fact we were later arriving than planned was no problem, we were even given a lovely plate of shortbread, which was much appreciated, as was the copper bath, as good as any spa! A wonderful b&b with the most wonderful host. Our stay was not long enough.
Sue, the owner, was very friendly, approachable and welcoming. The accommodation was first class - comfortable and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our cooked breakfast and evening meals of locally sourced produce. The rooms, individually designed and decorated, are both quirky and luxurious.
Staff, facilities and food were excellent, one of the cleanest and comfortable and well maintained hotels i have visited. The staff were very friendly and attended to every need although not to pushy or overpowering. Highly recommended for business users or for a romantic night away.
Everything! Enjoyed asking other guests what the theme of their room was, each are different and nothing to choose between them! Very warm, friendly welcome from Sue, nothing too much trouble. We enjoyed the banter with Matt the young chef whose cooking is excellent. Enjoy!.
Friendly and welcoming, not just a business, more a labour of love for the owner Sue.
Stunning interior design, trusting environment and beautifully prepared breakfast, we loved our stay and would recommend to any travellers, will most certainly visit again when in the area.
Service was very friendly and couldn't do more for you to make you
happy and comfortable. We were welcomed by the chef Matthew who was like
a long lost friend. Breakfast was superb. We will definitely be back to
stop in another themed room next time.
Everything. The perfect place to stay if you want to be spoilt. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, each being individually designed. The location is excellent. All of the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Food is excellent.
The room was absolutely beautiful, and the little details had been thought about. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make me comfortable. The food was lovely and I can't wait to go back.
The accommodation was second to none. The staff could not do enough for you and are very personable. I cannot stress how great this place and the staff are. If you are looking at booking this, stop looking and just book it.
Sue is a very welcoming host - we enjoyed everything about the stay, the service and facilities were to a very, very high standard & was made to feel relaxed and totally at home with some really thoughtful touches.
This was our base for the start of the C2C. The accomodation was outstanding and Matthew was extremely helpful and friendly, he even opened breakfast early so we could get an early start. I would definately stay again.
I only stayed for one night which was a shame. Sue has set up a superb
B&B. If you like your soft furnishings then this is the place for
you. Great attention to detail and different. Very friendly.
Beautifully decorated throughout, with lovely individual touches in each room, wonderfully comfortable and spacious, charming hostess who couldn't do enough for us - best hotel I've stayed in in years.
Nicely appointed property, friendly staff, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast and evening meals available and very good. Trust bar and goody bag for our onward journey. Free Internet access.
Sue was amazing as a hostess and cannot do enough for you. This B&B
is one of my absolute favourites. Breakfast was exceptional with local
produce. I cannot recommend it enough.
Hospitality was amazing from Sue and the team.
Room was first class and best I have ever stayed in around the world, it was finished to the very highest standard and pure luxury.
This place is just what we expected, very nice indeed. Sue is very friendly and welcoming and can't do enough for you. We will certainly be coming back when we are in the lakes.
Very comfortable, beautiful bed and breakfast. Matthew was so attentive and couldn't do enough for us. (Sue was not at home ). Very comfortable beds and great food!.
Great place to stop. Couldnt knock anything. Sue was great, she showed
us around. Had lots of personal touches which makes it stand out. Will
be coming back soon.
The owner was friendly and professional in every way. Felt immediately relaxed.
The food was 5 star better than Claridges! Chef friendly too.
Facilities 5 star.
Lovely welcome, very comfortable and modern room. best hotel I have stayed in for a long time. Fantastic breakfast and look forward to staying there again.
The guest house was really nice, Sue was friendly and helpful. The place
is super clean, cosy and beautifully designed. We had a really nice

Warm and Friendly.
Fantastic!
To give this place 10 out of 10 is an understatement.
I only hope that we can go back to stay again.
Another lovley stay here,a bonus was i managed to finish work in time to have a very good steak.
thanks again.
Friendly hosts, a very good level of accommodation and we particularly liked the 'goodie bag' on departure.
Matt the chef - just brilliant !
The rooms are all quite unique and simply stunning - luxury upon luxury.
What a lovely place to stay, shame i was working late and did not have an evening meal.very good standard.
Relaxed atmosphere, staff were most polite and helpful. Food, both choice and quality were top draw.
Everything about the establishment, very friendly, value for money and the feeling of homeliness.
We didn't enjoy the local town of Whitehaven but the property itself
was beautiful and set in very lovely surroundings.
Nothing to say in this section, it was totally beyond reproach.
Couldn't fault it in any way.
Everything was perfect.
Nothing!! Loved it all.
There is nothing that we did not like.
There wasn't anything I did not like.
Theres nothing not to like. We only suggested a small or big
"tv" viewing room with settee then its home from home -instead
of tv in bedroom .
Littlebeck Warren came up on search of places in the Lake District, however, this in my opinion is most definitely NOT the Lake District. My only problem with the b&b is that the Glass room, where we were, is above the kitchen and unfortunately the staff were rather loud when talking to one another which when you are a moderate sleeper can cause you to wake much earlier. The area of Whitehaven is unfortunately run down and not very pleasant.
Noise from the upstairs rooms, creaky and noisy floorboards.
Nothing really, didn't manage access to wifi, but probably down to me!.
Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Nothing at all! Faultless.
Shower in our ensuite has a broken seal leading to leakage we needed to clean up. Very minor issue. If it wasn't for the shower I would have rated the facilities as excellent rather than good.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Nothing.
There is nothing in all honesty not to like.
Absolutely nothing and anybody that does find a negative must be impossible to please.
A little bit of road noise from the A595 in the room and we would have preferred a full King Size bed rather than two singles pushed together.
The weather was awful, but we didn't mind in the least as this hotel looked after us wonderfully :).
Nothing.
