A converted windmill, the original structure was built in 1806. After nearly 100 years of grinding corn, its sails were removed in 1904.

Offering opportunities for various adventure activities including kayaking, rock-climbing and surfing; the hotel is also a popular location for secluded meetings, training days and team building exercises. The main conference room is housed in the ground floor of the windmill, hence its name, the Round Room. There are a number of 'breakout rooms' in the hotel which can be used alongside the Round Room or independently. Elsewhere, the garden and grounds often become an extra room and provide a fantastic and invigorating environment for training and meetings.

Delicious home cooking is available in the restaurant, which serves mainly organic dishes and makes use of excellent local produce. Menus aim to be simple and wholesome, with a mix of lunches, bar snacks and evening meals available. During the summer, the restaurant regularly moves out into the garden with the smell of the barbecue wafting through the grounds. Organic wine, beer and soft drinks are served amid comfy sofas and an open fire to make the lounge bar the ideal place to unwind.

The TYF group is committed to an environmentally friendly practice, continually monitoring its policies to ensure that it retains the Green Dragon Environmental Standard that it has reached.

Child Policy:
Children aged between 6 and 12 can share a room with accompanying adults for 10 GBP per child, per night (including breakfast).

Lying at the heart of the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in South-West Wales, the hotel’s only 5 minutes from the beach, the coast path and the centre of historic St. Davids - the ancient spiritual capital of Wales.

Nearby attractions include:

St Davids Bishops Palace (300 metres) - even in ruin, this 14th century palace remains a remarkable sight. The extravagance of the architecture is still in evidence, embellished throughout by lavish carvings.

Scolton Museum & Visitor Centre (32 km / 20 miles) - As Pembrokeshire's County Museum, the Victorian Manor House, Stable Block and Exhibition Hall feature many displays illustrating the history of the area. The museum is completed by the environment-friendly Visitor Centre where the displays focus on green issues and the wildlife of the park.

Oakwood Park (38 km / 24 miles) - amongst the top 10 UK theme parks, Oakwood is home to a number of white-knuckle rides as well as various family favourites.

The 12 bedrooms at Twr-y-Felin Hotel are simple, stylish and airy - designed for comfort and relaxation.

Clean contours, crisp white Egyptian cotton sheets and wide wooden blinds are key features.

The hotel was refurbished in 2002, with attempts made to keep the informal character of the building, ensuring that the original wooden panels, marble fireplaces and tiled floors were untouched.

Many rooms are en suite, with standard rooms having bathrooms close by.

By car:
From Haverfordwest (Hwlffordd):
- Follow the A487 to St. David's (Tyddewi).
- Take the 1st road on the left after the driveway to “The Waterings” B&B, signposted Twr-y-Felin Outdoor Centre.
- There is a large car park on the left followed by a small lane. Twr-y-Felin Hotel is 50 metres down this lane, on the right.

From Fishguard (Abergwaun):
- Follow the A487 to St. David's (Tyddewi).
- Once in St. David's (Tyddewi), follow the one-way system until the T-junction (High Street).
- Turn left, then take the 2nd road on the right (1st road is a no-entry) signposted Twr-y-Felin Outdoor Centre.
- There is a large car park on the left followed by a small lane. Twr-y-Felin Hotel is 50 metres down this lane, on the right.

Free parking is available in the car park at the front of the hotel.
