Perfect weekend break. At the outset let me say this is not a luxury
five star hotel. So to avoid any chance of disappointment do not expect
the style of top class locations where you may have stayed before.
However if you would like to stay somewhere that is clean
,safe,comfortable with staff who care and has a relaxed ambience rather
than a form

What an amazing hotel!! Me and my husband stayed 2 nights for my birthday and chistmas shopping, free parking and about 15mins away from city centre. The outside of the hotel is beautiful and very well looked after. The pub / dinning is very warm and welcoming with an open fire. There is set meals and I must say very yummy and breakfast. Service was again 100% friendly who will go out their way to help.
The rooms are luxurious, cosy, warm and spacious. We swapped rooms on arrival as we wanted

From the moment I was greeted by the lady of the Hotel, I felt welcome.
I was given a very comfortable - if modest double room for a single
stay. I wish I could have packed the mattress and pillows into my

We really enjoyed our stay at The Elizabeth House Hotel. Our double room was lovely, very clean and tidy and very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you, in particular the young lady who checked us in at the front reception desk. As we had never visited Southampton before, we had a few tourist type questions and the young lady was happy to help us and answered all of our questions. They phoned before we arrived to make sure we knew that the hotel was on the southbound side of the motorway otherwise we would have had to walk through the underpass to the hotel. The size of the room was excellent and was nice and warm when we arrived. -

Perfect hospitality! We spent 3 nights and we got all the help we needed and also a great full English Breakfast! 10 minutes walk from city center, was perfect for us. It was also easy to park the car right putside the door. Thank you for a pleasant stay! -

It is close to the shopping centre. Any where we wanted to go was within walking distance. It was only a short distance from the cruise ship terminals. - Spot-on location,very clean and staff very helpfull

Good location, close to the West Quay, Train Station and a Cinema is
within 5 minutes walk. Guildhall is 10 -15 minutes walk away. Also have
a MacDonalds and tfi Friday's close by. Rooms are basic, clean and
ideal for a night or two can't fault.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone. Would def recommend this hotel, and would use it again myself. - Pretty good actually, free swimming pool, gym facilities
