This Victorian property offers bed and breakfast accommodation just half a mile from the harbour at Seahouses. The stunning Bamburgh Castle is just a 5-minute drive away, and Megstone House provides secure bike storage.

Had a very enjoyable stay at Megstone House. We stayed for just one night as we tried to see as much as Northumberland as possible in a few days. Donna and Paul the couple who owned the B&B are a lovely couple and the house is full of character, very clean and modern. As we were the only couple staying we received star treatment but I'm sure they are like this with everybody who stays. Megstone House was a fabulous find, immaculate and tastefully decorated 'huge' bedrooms. In a great location for exploring the coast and only a 5 minute stroll into town and the harbour. Donna and Paul are perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them and their breakfast was all you needed to set you up for the day ahead. A very friendly welcome in a warm and cosy home, would definately recommend.
Fabulous place to stay . Donna and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the room with the four poster bed and have to say the room was immaculate and the attention to detail couldn't be faulted. Lovely cooked breakfast every morning too ! . Would certainly recommend a stay here.
We chose Megstone House based on the glowing reviews and were most definitely not disappointed. Donna and Paul have created a jewel of a Bed and Breakfast and with three bedrooms are able to pay utmost attention to detail, service and interest in the needs of their guests. Unhestitatingly highly recommended.
