What a find! We stayed here whilst touring on our motorbikes and were impressed from the moment we walked in. Ultra-friendly staff showed us to our immaculate room, and that attitude continued through the evening in the bar - they were a real credit to the owners. Excellent beer, friendly locals, a first-class burger served in the bar and a perfectly cooked breakfast the next morning...with proper coffee too! I'd recommend The Bell to anyone. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Room clean and tidy, good thick towels. The Bell is a pub, so if you dont want to hear the noises of a Pub, dont stay here!
I was above the kitchen which was noisy during service, but was quiet long before I went to sleep!
The rump steak was superb, with a lovely Pepper corn sauce. I have paid a lot more for places that were not as nice.
This was our second stay at the Bell, and it was just as good as the first. A proper pub, the staff were friendly, the beer was excellent and the food a cut above average pub-grub standards. Our room was comfortable and clean.
I had an unforgettable stay at the Bell Inn, enjoying the history of the Inn with modern conveniences. The Street & surrounding countryside is very picturesque & I was fortunate to have good weather!.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Good quality food and good selection of drink.
We stayed on a Saturday and it was good to see lots of local people using and enjoying the facility.
Very friendly staff who made us feel like 'old friends'. First class home cooking and excellent beers and wines. Good easy access to the Broads. Very good value for money.
Was much better then was expecting, especially due to the price. Staff very friendly. Nice modern room and had everything which was required. Would def stay again.
Friendly staff, rooms serviced daily, clean, reasonably priced, food in restaurant excellent. A popular venue for both locals and visitors.
A lovely pub with great rooms which had a "hotel" feel. Excellent dinner in the pub and a delicious cooked breakfast in the morning!.
Good food at a very reasonable price.
Clean, comfortable beds.
Breakfasts cooked to order -not left around to dry out.
The room was very clean and comfortable.
Staff were very friendly and the bar is a nice place to enjoy a drink.
I liked everything about the relaxing style and over all friendly comfortable ambience.
Good dinner, and otherwise all as expected, friendly and good value for a pub b&b.
Very good service. Comfortable accommodation. Most helpful. Could recommend.
The friendliness of the staffthey could not do enough for you. Well done.
Friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable, good value for money.
It was a very welcoming pub with good food and a comfortable stay.
Nice room with comfortable bed.
Very good choice for breakfast.
Excellent bar meal and breakfast, freindly staff.
It is a first class hotel in a lovely village.
Friendly staff clean rooms good food.
Everything!!.
The location was just right. Decoration of room was fine for the price.
The staff were friendly.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious and perfect.
Very comfortable bed, excellent towels. Nice staff and atmosphere. Meal excellent.
Pleasant rooms, comfortable, clean and tidy & good breakfast.
Excellent service -- Bedding clean.
The pub is located in the centre of a pretty village.
Nothing.
Bit noisy when I arrived, but went quiet before I went to sleep.
Car-park busy when I arrived, but I actually took this as a good sign, as if a pub is busy at 6.30pm they must be good!.
N/A.
I had a room directly over the bar, was a little noisy - earplugs are recommended for a good night's sleep.
Bathroom in room 3 was clean but smelled very peculiar- maybe a problem with drains - not too nice.
The shower could be more powerful.
nothing.
Bit of noise from other rooms and bar - no problem mid-week, bar quiet after 10pm, but it might be worth checking when the bar quietens down on a w/e.
Not enough hot water for the bath (shower fine).
The Risotto was awful nothing like I have ever had before and should be
taken off the menu, it was slop on a plate.
We liked everything.
Small bathroom badly in need of
updating.
nothing.
Nothing!!.
The room was as hot as a sauna and there is a pervading smell of food upstairs.
Mattress and pillows too soft
Not all areas were clean - stains on table and hairs in bathroom.
The pub could do with some updates.
Range of menu wasn't particularly enticing so we went up the road.
Very cold room - there apparently was a problem with the central heating. No extra blankets in cupboard. We couldn't make the shower (which was clearly very new and up to date) do anything other than produce a dribble of warm water or else a good shower of scalding or completely cold water. No instructions were provided.
We were very cold!! We have described our discomfort personally and by email - we await some response.
Decor a bit dated needs updating.
Our room was above the bar and therefore very noisy until midnight. The room was not particularly clean and the decor looked dated. Overall, not a great experience.
