  The staff were excellent over my 2 day stay. The food was delicious and good value which isn't always the case for hotels. The rooms were very modern and very clean with walk in showers. The location is spot on for the town centre as its 10 minutes walk max and 5 minutes to the football stadium and train station.   We were very pleased with our complete stay at the Brook Hotel, and would be very happy to recommend this Hotel to all who demand good value for money.   I traveled over to the area for a two day flyball seminar and wanted somewhere that was happy to accommodate my two dogs as well as myself. The owners were great and very helpful. Room was perfect situated just across the way from the main house with separate entrance and shower, toilet facilities across the corridor. C - A nice and peaceful location. Only a couple of miles away from Newmarket. The breakfast was great. Really set me up for the day. A nice added touch to have a little bottle of Actimel to drink. The room was nice and comfortable and a good size. Was really kind of Wally to give me and my daughter a lift into Newmarket in the morning instead of having to get a taxi. If we do visit Newmarket again we would consider staying again.

  Friendly staff member who really multi tasked.Loved the idea that soon the 2 fireplaces would be in use and wished we could have stayed to enjoy that. Our first experience of heated towel rails and the room heater kept us cosy.The meals were lovely, and the dining room looked out across the roadway to the countryside beyond. I also liked the layout of the hotel as it seemed that everything was close at hand. ie the bar, the restaurant, the lounge, the reception. This gave it a very friendly feel. The room was very comfortable with a lovely en suite which couldn't be faulted. I also liked that it was a place I could happily recommend to friends.
