The room was clean and smart. The fact that we could choose and buy films to watch was good.The breakfast choice was excellent and the fact that we could choose how much and what we wanted to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We were impressed by our first view of this hotel. Much better than expected as was Lowestoft itself. Car park just over the road from the hotel entrance. Easily accessed lift just by reception and very few steps for disabled persons like myself.

Brilliant Hotel, staff very polite, nothing was to much trouble, The Sunday Buffet was excellent and so was the breakfast the next morning, Room large & comfortable and warm, the bathroom was large and the shower was nice & hot and easy to work. the number of T.V. programs were excellent. the view from the enlarged bar/decking area was good, very very happy with our stay would recommend.

Staff at hotel were so helpful and went out of their way for us.. Breakfast was really good with a lot of selection of choices and meals in evening and were very reasonable in price as were bar drinks in prices as well. Room was spacious and very clean and comfortable and quiet.

I only stayed one night - the staff were very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, bright and cool. There was a good choice of food at breakfast, which was enjoyable to eat and included in the price of the room. Also I would add the hotel was within walking distance of town centre. Pleasant staff providing a good service.
As regular visitors we appreciated the efforts made to deal with the weekend breakfast issue when the hotel is full with wedding guests - by advising of the best time and warning that there might be delays. so on the Sunday morning we took a stroll into Sudbury

A pleasant day for our stay so enjoyed a good cream tea on the balcony followed by Pimms (it was a surprise 70th). Later drinks in the bar seated on comfy chairs / sofa followed by an extremely good meal and breakfast the following morning.

Yes the hotel is slightly tired, but in a quaint way, felt very homely and personal, much like the staff, very helpful and polite.
The broadband is quite limiting, many words are banned. even sensible ones that I needed for work, but not a real issue.
Breakfast was excellent & service quick and friendly, a good choice of hot & cold.

we stayed in a kinda annex the room was called Southgate. It was really comfortable. There was a DVD called "Whatever happened to Dunwich" that was entertaining! The meal at night and breakfast was fabulous...and "Mine host" was helpful and friendly....Plenty of free parking and the beach 2 mins away...I'm sure we will stay again

We had an excellent overnight stay at this accommodation. Everything was absolutely first class, with the bedrooms exceedingly well equipped and comfortable and a very extensive and tasty breakfast. Karen and Paul were very welcoming hosts and I would happily stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending it as one of the best B&Bs I've ever come across .

Impeccably clean, tasteful, unfussy and well run, with every consideration given to providing for the comfort of guests; we saw that business people, families, a young couple, as well as us oldies were equally happy. Close to town for shops and cultural visits, but quiet location just a short drive from the coast.
