Gorgeous setting with lovely, hospitable hosts. The inn is very warm, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect time to interact with other interesting quests. It is a nice 15 minute drive to St. Andrews. We stay in B and B's frequently, and Kirkland Barns is among the best we have experienced! -

The hosts were the best we have met in our year of travelling and our fellow guests were extremely pleasant to spend time with. A most enjoyable experience.

Our friendly Hostess Evelyn warmly welcomed us. She was informative of the facilities available in and around Hampton House. Evelyn the owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, it was clean and comfortable, somewhere you could relax after a long day sightseeing. The garden was furnished with seats for the guests and there was also a guest lounge. The continental breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice and Evelyn was happy to provide more should you require it. I would certainly visit again and recommend this hotel to friends.

Andrews, ma non semplicissimo da ritrovare (specie la notte!): se avete un navigatore fidatevi più del post-code che dell'indirizzo!

The atmosphere was just so cosy and comfortable especially for a pre christmas break. The Staff were so accommodating and hospitable. We especially liked the fact we could wander down for breakfast when we were ready as the pub didn't open till 1230. The breakfast was really delicious and we also enjoyed our evening meal the first night.

The hotel was very clean and tidy and the room I booked had excellent views across the bay. The staff where extremely helpful at tall times and the food was also excellent. I wiould return again. - The hotel staff were very attentive but not intrusive; the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the food was fresh and cooked to order.

Location was excellent, a fairly quiet village within easy striking distance of larger places such as St Andrews, Perth, Sterling.
Staff very friendly and helpful
Breakfasts were of excellent quality, evening dinner menu had enough variety for us to eat there 4 or 5 times during our stay.

The Woodside was very clean and comfortable, the room was nicely decorated as were the public areas. The bathroom was very clean with plenty of nice clean fluffy towels. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. All in all a nice place to stay. -

Incredible place under railway bridge which looks like a film set from a movie shot according to some Jules Verne book. It feels so very Victorian and British like no other place we have been to in Scotland. Apart from the breathtaking view from the hotel window , the whole place has a welcoming feel , with attentive staff making it a lovely stay . The bar area was lively and the meals were good value for money . The rooms have been refurbished and the bathroom fittings are all brand new and modern. The location is ideal as it is 5 mins walk , albeit up a steep brae , to the railway station with frequent trains into the capital . If you liked the film Local Hero then you will love this hotel !

We only stayed 1 night to attend a party nearby. The staff were so helpful offering to drive us to the location. The facilities in the bedroom were good and breakfast was very generous. with pleasent staff. -
