  Stayed in a spacious, relaxing and very comfortable suite. We loved the decor and furnishings too. Once we had settled in, a fresh flower arrangement was delivered to our room. That was a nice touch. Staff were very helpful and friendly, Wine was reasonably priced. There were ample dishes to choose from the menu. Daily specials were offered too. A lot of thought, time and care has gone into making this a - We liked everything about it, the hotel was ideal for us, very comfortable and spacious rooms. the food was extremely good and a very varied menu. the staff were very professional and attentive to our needs, even the locals that popped in we got to know. We spent three nights at woodlands and would have loved to have stayed longer.

  If, like me, you live in the south & want to visit Scotland Moffat is a great stopping place. The Black Bull is a very old Scottish coaching Inn.
