The hotel is in a truly stunning setting, looking out over a wooded gully, to the sea. Service was good, as was the food at both restaurants - it's well worth a trip to the Rock Garden for a few cocktails, too! Possibly the best hotel we've stayed at in Guernsey. Potential bookers should note that this is NOT in St Peter Port town but a rural location in the parish.

Loved the huge bathroom. Toiletries were replenished each day. Breakfastdining room was lovely, with a good selection of food. King-size bed,and room overlooking the outdoor pool . 1) Receptionist we dealt with was fantastic from the moment we
arrived until the time we left. Nearly all of the staff we
encountered were lovely.
2) Mark Jordans food was exceptional both in terms of quality and (relative) value for money (we had the £65 3 course)
3) Location and views provided by hotel. Whilst it is a bit out of the way, it was lovely none the less

Contemporary airy room, superb service, the best breakfast I've ever eaten at a hotel, anything one can ask for :-) Location is brilliant - very close to the harbor, Elizabeth castle and the Jersey eye, 5 min to the city centre. We stayed in one of the cottages which are of a very high standard. Decoration is attactive and there are some lovely touches; comfortable and stylish.
Staff were helpful, responsive and kindly - without being intrusive. We were travelling with my elderly mother and aunt and the team at La Place made everything very easy for us.

Fantastic stay at Hotel La Place, the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We were picked up from the airport and upon arrival out bags and check in were taken care of while we enjoyed complimentary champagne in the bar! We were even lucky enough to have a free room upgrade to the newly refurbished Deluxe room which was beautiful.

Great hotel in a fantastic bay location. We had a lovely sea view room which had a shared balcony overlooking the beach.

A great spot for basing yourself if you want to explore the jersey coastline, the staff were fantastic and really made us feel at home, many locals use the public bar and they are a great bunch, up for a laugh and generally quite tame. The food was excellent, we were trapped there by blizzards for three extra days while the airport was closed and the hotel made every effort to lessen the impact by allowing us free use of their laundry facilities etc. And it has the best duke box in the bar ever

Everything you needed, nice touch with coffee etc on arrival and welcome
pack. Bus to airport stops outside and costs £1.70 :-) used dishwasher,
washer etc and no problem with leaving your rubbish etc out and getting
extra tabs. Paid etc for harbour view which was lovely on the night we

The Liberty Apartment looks like new and is spotlessly clean- 10/10
to the housekeeping staff. Location is superb, within easy walk of most
of the attractions of Jersey - St Helier.
Fast wi-fi and the staffs at the reception is VERY VERY POLITE. Whats a wonderful view of the Marina they gave to me.. wooow!!! I will be back there for sure very soon.
