The location was close enough to shops and restaurants, and a long walk or quick bus ride into downtown. It was clean and comfortable and although the hosts/employees were on the shy and quiet side, they did a great job and were friendly.

Most of the above - Well located on main thoroughfare in to Oxford from the north, about 15mins walk in to centre. Small / clean rooms, helpful staff and good breakfast. As good as the local competition but would be considered overpriced in most other UK towns.

very friendly efficient staff. Clean room. Very good breakfast. Good value - Staff pleasant, and the lady who greeted us was very helpful in discovering information for us, giving us the fresh milk requested in ample quantity and ordering us a taxi. Car park very useful. Location good.

Excellent hotel about 2 miles from city centre on Banbury Road in Summertown.Bus stop right outside hotel for centre,buses about every 10 minutes. I liked absolutely everything about Cornerways Guest House. Carol, the landlady was so warm, friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Her attention to detail shows that she genuinely loves what she does. She gave us good advice and recommendations and helped make our whole visit a delightful experience. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. We booked 2 nights but enjoyed it so much we had to stay a third night.

Room was clean and modern. Bed was comfortable and very convenient to bus station and centre of town. Breakfast was fine as was showering facilities if you don't mind sharing a bathroom with others. Convenient to good restaurants - Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurant on the corner! -

This is a lovely bed & breakfast. We had 2 nights and was given a lovely spacious room with very comfy king size bed, lovely views of the country side. There was great attention to detail with things like hand wash, hand cream in the bathroom. The owners were very helpful when it came to recommending places to eat etc and booked us a table

We could not give higher praise for this quaint, yet modern B&B. We had a beautifully accommodated room with a wonderful view of the countryside, a modern private bathroom, teas, biscuits, and free secure wi-fi. The luxurious bed was like sleeping on a cloud - best rest we had since arriving in country. The complete English breakfast was perfect and the hosts are wonderfully cheerful and helpful. A great bargain for the experience and only 8-10 minutes to Oxford city-center.

Di was very welcoming.
I arrived 2 hours early but was shown to my room straight away. I could leave my car in the drive. She gave me a lift into the town centre which was a great help. I felt more like a member of the family than a paying guest.
Everything in the house was clean and comfortable. A really lovely place to stay. Thank you -

The owners, Clive and Donna, were an absolute pleasure. As soon as I arrived I was greeted with some of the best customer service I have ever received. Genuinely nice people and will go out of their way to ensure you have the best stay possible!

Interior layout and design was really very well done, couldn't stop looking at the timber framing. Really very comfortable and the underfloor heating was a real winner after being out with frozen feet.
The breakfast was cooked to a pre-arranged time and it was beautiful, quality ingredients.
The bus stop in to Oxford was a 5 min walk with a regular service until quite late, ideal.
