... cosa dice la gente » excellent! - Staff friendliness, clean comfortable room, considerate chambermaid who left towels outside room when do not disturb sign was placed, the night porter who is always patient despite the behaviour he has to cope with,and the considerate nature of the reception staff when we overstayed our visit by not realoising check out was an hour earlier on Sundays.

I liked the fact that it was a new hotel and reasonably priced. As we
travelled as a family it was good that we were put on the top floor away
from noisier guests.
We did have to ask for bedding for my son to sleep on the sofabed as this wasn't supplied, but this was resolved very quickly - staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. When bedding was delivered the guy asked if he could help putting it on the bed, which was very kind (sorry don't know his name).

The staff were aware that we were not a hen or stag party and put us on a higher floor to avoid the noise and we did not hear a thing. The staff on reception were very friendy and provided us with a lot of information about Newcastle. All very good. Check-in was easy, staff were helpful. Room was clean, comy and good size. Staff in bar and restaurant were very pleasnt and helpful. Surroundings were pretty good too. We ate in the restaurant. The food was fresh, good portions and good value. Breakfast was excellent. Good hotel, great value for money. Location at quayside was good

Spacious, comfortable and neat room. Very friendly and helpful reception desk in particularly the girl at the reception (unfortunately I can't remember her name) who was very helpful when we needed help on a couple of occasions. Excellent location right next to Tyne bridge. Everything you need shopping, dining, entertainment within walking distance! We enjoyed our stay there.

Brilliant staff - consumate professionals and very friendly; they could not have been more helpful despite the ungodly hour at which we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and we will definitely be back again. Amazing breakfast (loved the free food for under 16s) and wonderfully comfy beds. The hotel was comfortable, clean and well thought out. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Six of us travelled to visit relatives in the area, we booked a table for nine people on our last evening. The restaurant is nicely devided into separate areas, the menu is varied and we all enjoyed our meals. -

On our outgoing night we had a very poor nights sleep due to noisy neighbours but the staff were very sympathetic and refunded the cost of our stay. Incoming we had an excellent nights sleep and lovely breakfast, again the staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. Thank you all -

I was pleasantly surprised. Having stayed st the chain before and not had a good experience but this one was very clean, well furnished (almost new), with lovely staff and the breakfast at the Beefeater next door was fantastic. I was visiting family in the area so it was perfect.
I couldn't fault it and will definitely go back. -
