Very nice rural location, with excellent country pub next door serving good food. The rooms were reasonably spacious and very clean. Lovely big double bed. Excellent breakfast served by the owner who was friendly and helpful. All round good value for money. -

Staff could not do enough for you, so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic! We enjoyed the 'all you can eat' English breakfast, as well as the additional range of continental style items. Location was fantastic as we were attending a wedding at Kelham House which was just a short taxi ride away. -

I checked in early evening and was greeted well by the Managers, then taken straight to my room. They made a real effort to accommodate me and always with a smile. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. My Executive room was very clean, tidy and quite large for what I had expected. I had evening Dinner at the restaurant which was very good val

The staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome - even though they were very busy with the restaurant and bar area.The evening meal we had on the Friday evening was excellent. We will be booking the Millgate House Hotel again for our visit to Newark next year for the Vintage Tractor Show.

Excellent location close to where we needed to be (Kelham); friendly staff; generously sized room and huge en-suite bathroom; *superb* Indian restaurant attached (seriously, award-winning quality); plenty of parking, including right outside room. -
The welcome was warm and friendly, the room very comfortable and clean plenty of room, the bathroom
