  It was lovely and the room was spacious and comfortable. ArdenGuestHouse is in the perfect location. Across the street from the oldest golf course in the world. If you like horses, there is also a race track. It's in Musselburgh, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The family who runs the b&b is friendly, warm and accommodating. Can't wait to go back! - Very friendly people, and a lovely large room with an extremely comfortable bed. If you're there for the golf or racing, it's just across the street, and the town centre is a quick walk away. A bus stop just in front takes you to Edinburgh city centre in about 40 minutes once an hour.

  We drove into the entrance and thought we were at the wrong place - the first thing you see is a castle - wow!! The lodge we is down the driveway to the left and was very clean and comfortable. Castle staff were very friendly and helpful and conversed with us as time allowed - made us really feel at home, as if we were the Lords and Ladies of the... cosa dice la gente » realm. It was quite the occasion for us to go to the bar in the castle and actually socialize in the same place as had British royalty - how often ca - The place is beautiful. It is a bit cut off (in the woods) which makes it excellent for relaxation but not very accessible by public transportation (you need to walk 30mins to get to the bus stop). The staff at this place are very professional, friendly and helpful. It is also very clean. Depending on the clients requirements, I do not hesitate to recommend this accommodation. Furthermore, it is reasonably priced compared to market prices.
