This hotel is a 5 minute walk from the railway station and two minutes from the centre of Manchester and you will go through or past canal street on the way - The staff were so helpful and nothing too much trouble for them. The Ivy Mount guest house was booked at the last minute, as I normally stay in the larger well known city centre hotels.
