  Spent three nights in the Great Malvern Hotel. As others have said don't be put off by the look of the building.Staff are very friendly and helpfull. Rooms are of a good size and being redecorated at this time. Food is excellent all you can eat for breakfast. The bar gets lively most nights with entertainment good selection of real ales. Car parking is limited but first come first served. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Spectacular views from the rooms and the restaurant, and my 12 year old son loved the cooked breakfast. The hotel is also very quiet. - A non chain family run hotel with friendly helpful staff. Food was excellent in terms of quality and quantity and the cellar was comprehensive. The rooms were spacious, clean and the bedding fresh (sounds and obvious comment to make but I have come across some horrors in London). Location was beautiful and the parking ample. The best hotel I have stayed in for a long time.

Lovely toiletries and towels too! Really enjoyed our stay and if in the area again would definitely stay here. Owners are a delight to deal with!

  We have enjoyed staying at Holdfast Cottage several times in the past decade and this visit was no exception. It is located in the countryside near Welland, well away from noise and distractions, yet Malvern, with its facilities and services, is only a few minutes drive away. The 17th century building has great charm (with a gorgeous wisteria), sits in a large garden, and is nicely appointed. The - I was given a warm welcome & shown to my room, which was in the original part of the building. It was large & very light with large windows on two sides, one of which overlooked the lovely garden. My room appeared freshly decorated, with everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and there was a good sized bathroom, again light & with a window. Breakfast was good. I'll definitely be back when in the area.

  We stay at two or three B & B’s every year and this is the best one we have ever stayed at. The rooms were clean and decorated in a way that it felt like a home from home. The rooms were light and with plenty of room. One room is available if you wish to bring your dog which is always nice. As soon as we - We stayed in the self-contained flat which was outstanding value for a family of four. My two sons (aged 8 and 10) loved the space and freedom of the flat and the gardens. My husband and I did not have to worry about them waking up early and disturbing other guests or even dressing for breakfast! Having our own kitchen meant that we were able to cook a simple late supper without dragging the children out to find a restaurant. All in all, a real home from home.
