Slick professional check in, great staff, complimentary parking, welcome champagne and fruit, drinks, fresh warm bread daily, fridge stocked with mixers and delicious breakfast items. The apartment was immaculate. The extras (champagne, beers, gin, vodka, soft drinks, chocolates, fruit basket, food to make a cooked breakfast, fresh bread and much, much more) were excellent.   We liked the building, which had much character. Our room was in the attic with a lovely view to the Minster.We could sit in our bed with our morning cuppa and view across.Very clean room and a huge comfortable bed. A nice size bathroom. Cellar bar was good for a meal, or a cosy night cap after visiting the city. Staff friendly and helpful with a smile! Everything was so - The room was glorious - very comfortable, good in size, view of the Minster from bed, spa bath, radio with iPod docking station, tv with dvd player, excellent coffee and tea facilities in te room... Simply all you need for a relaxing break away from it all. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very nice and the cellar bar with te beautiful outside area on the forecourt of the hotel was a lovely afternoon treat. The location couldn't be more central!

  A real 5-star experience. The hotel excels at every opportunity. Staff are courteous and friendly. The building is amazing, the decor very pleasing. Our room was huge with everything we could need. So glad we chose to dine in the restaurant and relax after dinner in the Whisky Room where service and selection were excellent.   The location is great - around 10 mins to the city wall and a further 10 to the centre. It was lovely inside too - we stayed in the rose suite which was perfect - very cosy and romantic! Breakfast in the morning was fab too!
