Dave the hotel owner is a superb host. He couldn't do enough for his
guests. Hotel is work in progress but so far impressive. Even dropped us
off at the railway station to save us getting a taxi when we left.
Breakfast was plentiful and cooked well. Hotel is in an ideal situation

We got lost and when we rang the hotel Hayley went on google maps and very calmly directed us straight there, when we parked and came in she had the kettle on for a very welcome cuppa! While there was no food available a selection of take away menus where offered and cutlery, plates and napkins provided. Breakfast served by Dave the next morning and was delicous. On arrival you think it looks like a bad place to leave your car. On checking in the staff show how crime in the area is much lower than the town centre. We had a perfect view of the Mersey and watched the car ferry we were going to sail on arrive. Room was decorated lovely and bed really comfy. For the money we paid for a single night to save us

Room is big especially bathroom. The staff is friendly as well. Although the hotel are quite far from city center, the price of private taxi is so cheap, about 3 pounds to city center. That mean if you have 3 people, it will be 1 pound per person.

Exterior looked not very appealing, but the newly refurbished room I stayed in was fantastic. I loved the attention to detail and the cleanliness which I really didn't expect. Lovely pub attached to it in an urban area with tesco extra opposite and take aways down the road. I got more than I expected and so was very happy with my stay. Bargain! -

My first impression was negative.I was wrong.I have never felt more at home in any hotel before.The frienleness of staff and other guests,including folk in the bar area could not have been better.I was made to feel very welcome and would choose the Pineaple as my first choice hotel in future.Thank you.

Really warm welcome and great host! My room was gigantic and had everything I needed (loved the power shower). John and his wife made sure I had everything I needed and were just so helpful. we had a great stay a loverley house and warm welcome the breakfast was very differant fresh fruit smoked salmon cheese and fresh bread . the best part spending breakfast around 1 large table in the kitchen shared with other guests lots of conversation and very relaxed we stay again next time we visit liverpool.
