A good hotel in ideal location to Birmingham New Street station.
After my very disturbed first night I went to the Reception desk next morning and asked if I could be given another Room where I was likely to be able to get a good nights sleep. The receptionist was very pleasant & most helpful.
She kindly arranged for my Room to be switched to No.310. This proved a huge improvement and I slept soundly all through Saturday night. I was very grateful.

The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was great. The hotel was clean and I had left valuables in my room (forgot to put them in the free safe) and the cleaners did not steal anything. The fact that the staff were focussed on the guests' needs at all times. They were obviously working as a team under the ethos that enthusiasm and professionalism establishes the standard of the hotel - and it worked!
The concept of the hotel was interesting (an eye hospital transformed into a luxury hotel) and that difference added to its charm.

We used Hotel du Vin as a base for a hen party and enjoyed drinks in the bar, booked Afternoon Tea and a Cocktail Masterclass, along with the accommodation. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect for everyone and suited our trip. A lovely weekend and appreciated the little touch of having the Hen's name outside the function room we were using for the Cocktail Masterclass. anything. The room was, although tiny, was very clean, with the bed
being very comfortable. The hotel was a 5 min walk from the theatre, and
10 mins away from town centre, which was very handy. With a early check
in at 12 and check out 12 the next day, this was very good value for

This hotel is a must if you are staying in Birmingham. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed, cosy and clean room, delicious buffet breakast and great location to the city centre. Highly recommended.

Booked at short notice, based on reviews on this site. Just returned home. Having stayed we can say that the reviews were spot-on! We had a twin room on the 3rd floor, it was very spacious, the beds were
comfortable with a choice of pillows which was a nice touch. The towels
