The design of the hotel was out of this world. Stunning. Beautiful.
Airy. So homely. The staff were so friendly, ever so efficient, above
and beyond. It was natural too, not false. They made me feel really
welcome, and that mattered an awful lot, being a solo traveller.

We were very impressed with the facilities. Quite often although a hotel claims to have a gym and pool they rarely offer the sort of quality found at this Novotel. The location was great - Southwark tube is 2 minutes away, St Paul's cathedral is a 15 minute walk and although the location is pretty central, we did not find the area too busy at all.

excellent to have a small apartment instead of a hotel room, very good value for money. Has everything one needs in an apartment, even for a few days (kitchenette, fridge, crockery, cutlery). Nice modern and decoration, very comfortable. Modern flat screen TV and even an iPod docking station! I would go here again for a short city trip in London. Easy walk from Russell Square and to British Museum, Univ of London. Just opposite Charles Dickens House.

Once entering the hotel, we felt welcome greeted by friendly,smiling
