Contrary to other opinions I felt that the Regency Guesthouse was ideal for our stay. Clean, situated between the train station and the city centre, opposite the park and next to the pub. My room was small (I did book a single room, so this was no surprise), but well organised. There was a share bathroom (between three rooms), but also a basin in my room. I loved the window, which had a large ledge - easily enough room to sit on. Loved the pillows!! And new mattresses coming in will make the beds even more comfy.

Within easy walking distance from King's College (20 minutes). Even
though on busy road was not aware of loud traffrick passing by. Friendly
Cypriot family-run old house with ongoing improvements. All basic
requirements available for short visits to Cambridge. Clean
bedroom/bathroom and very pleasant dining area for good varied

The room I ended up with is fabulous - big, lots of storage, huge flatscreen tv, and a terrace outside just for the couple of rooms which open onto it. This is in the new wing which has been refurbished to a very high standard. The owners are fantastic and can't do enough to make your stay as comfortable as they can.

Excellent location at the Cam banks, at less than 10 minutes walking distance from St. John's College. Has good car park facilities.
The food quality as well as the value for money of the restaurant were excellent. - Breakfast excellent, staff excellent, lounges excellent. All very clean.

Nice and very helpful staff, ready to make small, but significant favours (like offering an extra duvet or calling a taxi on a foggy early morning) when it matters the most. Clean premises, comfy bed, clean linens and towels. Rather small rooms, but intelligently arranged. A thumbs-up for the simple, but tasty breakfast (oh, les croissants! :)). A 10 minutes' walk to the city centre. Great!

The rooms were clean and generally comfortable. The staff was great. They were incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to see that our large group had a nice stay. The lack of en suite bathrooms was not really an issue since there were many bathrooms available right outside our room. -

Everything. We were greeted very promptly when we phoned and shown around the studio. It was even better than the pictures suggested. Comfortable and stylish.We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay - even champagne flutes! The little touches like tea,coffee and a fresh pint of milk as well as the washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and spotless tea towel were very welcome. It all helped to settle us in quickly for an all too short stay. Our experience has given us good reason to ret

From reading the confirmation email & previous reviews, we knew to
check in at the Arundel Hotel, which was on the way to the Ashley Hotel
from town in any case. From check-in to when we left, we found the staff
very friendly & courteous. The hotel itself was very nice, & the
room was very clean & roomy. We had a full English every morning
which was delicious, & the walk from the hotel to town was pleasant,
as we went along the river each time.

Perfect for attending a conference at Fitzwilliam College. Easy walk into the city centre. Great facilities especially washer/dryer and dishwasher and substantial refrigerator. Lots of hot water. -

Breakfast was really good and diverse, the staff was so friendly and welcoming and helpful. The room was squeeky clean. The location is right next to the train station, but it is quiet. Breakfast room is very cosy.
