Staff were generally friendly. The room was very 'homely' even though it was obviously a very old building. Was cosy at night. The area wasn't too noisy even though it was on the beach. Very pleased with my stay, already planning to stay here again when me and my friend next visit Brighton.

I often travel on a budget, and I must say I've rarely been that happy with a hotel. Big room, very clean, even had a shower inside! Most budget places have shared facilities and can be really tiny.

We have stayed here twice and have been more than happy! The rooms are clean, comfortable and all you will need for a weekend in Brighton. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Brighton so perfectly located. We would definitely stay there again!

The receptionist ( dark hair , European) who checked us in and out was a great advert for the hotel , professional and very friendly , nothing was too much trouble for her . Boutique feel with themed rooms. It would be nice to have an option of which themed room you get and to see the options online - probably possible if you call them up though.
Jacuzzi in the Sea-view rooms works a treat!
American style diner below (room service available). Huge portions in the sharing platters.
