Cosa dice la gente
Good central location, pleasant rooms, friendly staff. Very cosy and hospitable feel to the hotel itself. Excellent location, well appointed rooms, good value. The staff at the Kings Arms were very helpful. It was comfortable and had a friendly atmosphere and the food was good. The atmosphere was very friendly. Cheerful staff. We particularly liked the old peculiar which was on draught in the bar. Also thought the room was nicely decorated and of a good standard.tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
the room was ok, clean and fairly comfortable. Breakfast was quite good. Shower had poor water flow and uneven temperature.the beer cellar coolers were on the same wall as my bed head the noise was unbearable, they were switched off about midnight but came on about six a.m. Also I had an evening meal but it was over cooked and bland, however the are plenty of other places to eat in keswick. We had our evening meal at the hotel, probably would go else where next time. Also could i suggest that if you are going to allow dogs to stay in the hotel, the clean linen is not placed on the carpets outside of the bedrooms while the beds are being changed, not very hygienic. There was noise from the beer garden we overlooked but not excesive for a town centre location. Noise from the bar carried up into the room, this went on till about midnight and was loud enough to keep us awake. The hotel supply earplugs, which I took as a bad sign when I checked in! the reception staff spoke pretty poor english and it took a while to find my reservation when I arrived.
