Cosa dice la gente
We have no complaints about the hotel or staff, all was well. We were there to attend a funeral, and we had stayed there before. Convenient location, individuality. I liked the theme of the room, that made it different. Even though the hotel is in the middle of the town it was so quiet in the room!. The directions given by staff over the phone to find the hotel. The position of the hotel in the centre of Ipswich.tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Convenience being close to City centre. Clean and tidy - good service. central, and noodle bar restuarant. location. Access to local amenities - good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Noodle Bar attached - good food. Reasonable price. Nice bathrooms. The room was very clean. I also liked the range of toiletries supplied ,they included a toothbrush with toothpaste,. the comfort of the room and the helpful and friendly staff. Completed on behalf of 2 reps,. the service was excellent. New bathroom. Good bed. Ok room. Nice staff at the reception; not so nice when we had to pass the Nuddle restaurant. very comfortable bed and extremely clean bathroom, cooked breakfast was great!. Room was very nicely decorated and furnished. Very clean. Had tea and went on a works christmas doo in ipwich. Location and food. Excellent value. Staff helpful and friendly.Central, and old. Location to town centre for evening entertainment. Very central and convenient. Reasonable parking facilities; located in town centre with easy access to shops. the attitude of the staff was very helpful even declining a tip as service was included. Helpfullness of the staff. Took our heavy cases to the room and wouldnot accept a gratuity. It was near to were I was working and had a good restaurant. Very central, pleasant staff. Good central location, Friendly staff, not pushy, good sized andenjoyable breakfast, Comfortable bed. location. In the centre of town overlooking the market and close to all the mian shops. great breakfast, also central location. Location of the hotel was excellent. Convenient location. Central location. Location. central. The bed was comforable. Location of hotel.central location. It was close to the venue we attened.Very little. It was convenient for everything - the station, the football ground, the town centre, restaurants etc.The evening staff and early cover were excellent. I liked the fact that the hotel was centrally placed in Ipswich. Otherwise there was little if anything positive to say for it.The only thing I liked was MIZO - Japanese Bar attached - on the ground floor of hotel. A very unpleasant and dirty hotel.Nothing. It was not the fault of the hotel. At 0643 hours the Central square [outside our window] market started erecting the displays scaffolding and made one hell of a noise for over an hour.We were disappointed that we could not have cooked breakfast after 9.30 (we paid for it and only received a continental breakfast), we got down at 9.45, because the kitchen is shared by the restaurant and was closed for change over!!. The car park as my car was bumped as a member of staff reversed another car into the space in front of mine - he did not allow for the tow bar on the back of the car. Not made aware of any other parking options close by.Small bedrooms. Noisy early on market day mornings when stalls being delivered and constructed. Lots of stairs - no lift. The parking is a problem as there is not enough spaces for all the rooms However this does not detract from the fantastic location of the Hotel. Also this is not a good Hotel for people who find going up and downstairs a problem.didnt appear to be much heating, room was very cold. The hotel was very cold and rooms were small.the front rooms over square are very noisy could do with double glazing. DIfficult to get the key and deliver it. Dirty water-boiler.TVs took too much place in the room. Noisy at night: Machine in the backyard and preparations for market in the yard next day.being kept awake by people in the pub below our room, screeching seagulls and the market stalls being set up. I would seriously urge the hotel to invest in double glazing. Heating in room was very low standard and none in the bathroom - with solid marble floors!. Car park. Noisey on the morning of Market Day. Lots of birds (seagulls?) also. A great many stairs to get to reception and rooms. No previous indication of difficulty, almost inaccessiblility by car. Parking could be a nightmare. Could be noisy, but was quiet after 11pm. A chair in the room would have made it a bit more comfortable. The hotel is quite old with its own charm, but some of the electrical facilities are not working although temporary arrangements were quickly made to overcome a heating problem. Perhaps we should have anticipated a Market start-up at 6am to be very noisy. It needs a refit and it should make it clear that if you are disabledthen this is not the hotel to use. There are not any lifts and theentrance is up a set of stairs. I found it hard to use the stairs as Ihave a back problem. In a wheelchair I would not have been able to gainaccess.Breakfasts are adequate but if you are in a hurry bad luck. Acouple of slices of toast took over 20 minutes.Parking was difficult. Ran shower for over 20 minutes in the morning and no hot water (noticesaid it should appear after 5 mins). Room in need of decorating, poor water pressure in shower (there was anotice stating this, but that doesn't help, when you have driven approx250 miles, worked a 12 hour shift and desperatly need a shower, due tothe nature of the job). old bed, not comfortable. Other than the breakfast the only food availlable was Japanese - I thought it was a typical English Pub - perhaps the details should explain this. building very 'tired', badly in need of refurbishment. The hotel was shabby and needs refurbishment. Room was dirty. Remote control broken. Was woken early on Sunday to move my car despite leaving key with them for this purpose. Waited 45 minutes for simple breakfast to be served. Had to leave for appointment before it arrived. Had to but my own breakfast outside.Small room, very old TV. A little tired. More apporopriate to refer to this venue as a town centrre BandB. very noisy small room. Room was very noisy due to dismatling and erection of tehMarket outside my room (at 6.30 AM!). Room was above kitchen and therefore noisy. difficulties in getting any breakfast - seemed there was only one member of staff on duty to work at reception and cook breakfast. see aboe...no hot water, breakfast was cold.....never stay again. Confusing layout. Outdated and drab apperance. Not clean. Staff not verypolite/helpfull/understanding. Food over cooked. Poor choice of food.Car pk stunk of urine. Noodle bar not suitable for breakfast. One of the worst hotels, if not the worst hotel, we have ever stayed in. Shower was useless - it took ages to get warm then promptly dropped to a dribble of water making it impossible to use. There seemed only to be one person on duty and he had so much to do he was rarely available and there was a long wait when one pressed the buzzer at Reception. There was no clear access to the hotel which was through an exceptionally busy restaurant but not designated for a hotel. Stair access was difficult.the bedroom was badly and scruffily decorated. A footstool was very dirty although the bedroom was a double it was very very small and the television was up on a wall fitting more suited to aprison cell. The radiator was hanging off the wall. It was a. Smoking room given me instead of requested non-smoking. Cold room. Wall heater did not work. No hot water to hand basin. The lavatory leaked on the floor. 1).ugly car park, not convenient - staff requires car keys in order to unblock (popping behind) someone; 2).Dirty carpets, ceiling, walls in my room; 3).extremely noisy location - pubs down below so when hot weather you struggle with noise having windows opened; 4).poor breakfast facility - I had to ask twice for a breakfast for my Daughter; 5). poor choice as for breakfast; 6).overall -75£ !!!???. Dirty Room, Noisy Room ,no double glazing, almost on top of a noisy market.Staff did noy turn up for beakfast ,had to be prepared by Nightporter. On both mornings the choice of breakfast was poor. The hotel was not worth the money. We were refunded £10 which we felt was insufficient.
