Tony our host was most helpful and obliging, very "laid back"
and even opening up the restaurant (on the monday when it is normally
closed) for us and our family(who we were visiting in the area) the
locals we found also very welcoming on the lunch time when we arrived.
The room and ensuite were clean and seems to have been recently
refurbished to

Quiet location yet within easy 'striking distance' of A1. Friendly, helpful staff. Also met owner, Tony Jackson, and his wife, and Josh the Chef! Very pleasant stay,room was well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast - good.

Our stay was very comfortable, nothing too much trouble. Our room was of an excellent standard and the hospitality very relaxed and welcoming.Breakfast was home from home,cooked beautifully and plenty of it. the hotel is set in the idyllic surroundings of the dales.the staff are exceedingly friendly and efficient. the food was amazing, all the ingredients are locally sourced and carefully prepared into fantastic meals. the room was very clean,spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
