I loved the comfy, cosy environment of a home-style B&B. The delicious tea tray in my room was a lovely addition. I had such a very warm welcome from the owner and their friendly dog. I'm really glad I picked Latchetts Cottage this time, as it took me out to some beautiful & typical English countryside ...
The hosts were vere hospitable & helpful, showing me their garden & where I could walk to, as well as the nearby pub, where I enjoyed a great meal ... The owner set up an early cab for me the next morning and cooked me a lovely breakfast, too!
I'm very satisfied w/ my stay and will recommend it to friends & family ..,

We appreciated the airport transport provided and the flexibility to be able to accomodate a change in timing.
We appreciated that the proprietors were responsive to our needs and without our prompting looked ahead to help us plan for a supper venue.

Both Clive and Carmel were very welcoming and accommodating in their approach and nothing seemed too much trouble for them when asked. The only disappointment for us was that leaving so early in the morning we did not get to eat the full English breakfast. I'm sure it would have matched the other high standards, but there's always next time !!!

the attendent came right to the door when I knocked, he knew I had a reservation, he helped me carry my luggage up the stairs, he explained the breakfast, everything went according to plan. I love this hotel and the owners and staff they make you feel like you are part of the family. I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now and will be back there soon. I prefer to stay here then in London. With a great pub near by with great food. I left my teddy bear there and the kept him for me (yes I said Teddy bear) on my way back with a short pause between airports the brought him to me and would not take any money for the delivery now thats family. They have a good pick up and deli

Location of the Hotel. Close to town but out from the city. Nice way to relax before the flight home.
The Six Bells pub around the corner is a great place to socialize and have a bite to eat.
Nice getting a drive to and from the Gatwick Airport. Would stay here again. Good cooked breakfast in the am; plenty to chose from.

guest houses were not my usual places to stay, but now I'll have to reconsider that having been so cordially treated at GH
The single room was small but comfortable.
Plumbing was good.
Breakfasts good too.
Short walk to the 6 Bells Pub but a bit scary walking home through the graveyard after 2 pints, a bottle of wine and an Irish Coffee.

Being so close to Gatwick Airport but yet so peaceful is fantastic. Staff and facilities excellent. will definitely stay here again. One of the best hotels we have enjoyed anywhere in the UK.

I liked staying there a lot. I have allergies to perfumed substances
,polish ,toilet duck ..etc. I requested no perfumed products at all even
softners on sheets affect me. So no products were used fab fab fab. The

When the temperature of the room was colder than I was comfortable with
and there was noise from tree work in the back, our host changed our
room immediately to one which was warmer and quieter. He also suggested
an excellent dinner place which was within easy walking distance and
helped in other ways. Breakfast was tasty..although when will the Brits
stop using that 'radiator' toast hangers so the toast is cold
before the cooked part arrives! I would be happy to use Gatwick Turret

Owners very helpful & did everything to make us comfortable & welcome during our overnight stay. They also catered for our late arrival & took us to the airport the next morning as well as keeping our car safe onsite for the duration of our holiday. Buffet breakfast was included & we were able to help ourselves to what we wanted..facilities more than adequate.

Ottima prima colazione. Camere pulite e confortevoli. Ambiente familiare e personale molto gentile. - Very friendly staff, very comfortable bed with ensuite bathroom and a full English breakfast. Also complimentary taxi service to the airport - The owner was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for her. Her staff were pleasant and helpful.

The family who run this guesthouse are extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing appears to be a problem with them from booking to arrival to departure. Lovely house, pleasant owners/staff, but above all, the location. Next to Gatwick Airport (but very quiet) and very near local railway station with frequent trains to London (45 min. journey). Also, only a couple of minutes' walk from local shops, pubs, restaurants, banks, supermarket, etc. Ideal for Gatwick flights and visiting the capital without paying London hotel prices, esp. if travelling with children.

It was close to Gatwick airport and short direct walking distance to Horley town. The early morning taxi transfer was booked for me and arrived on time. The owner went that extra mile or even two to ensure that everything was ok for me as I ended up arriving about 5 hours later than planned, knowing that I was travelling alone. The room was warm, the bed comfortable & I was left a message with my key to confirm my transport to the airport & time. Will definitely use again if travelling through Gatwick early.

I had a very warm welcome and a very comfortable room. The B&B is very well set up to cater for guests travelling from Gatwick, and is only a £5 cab ride away if you are leaving at an unearthly hour as I was! This is an excellent option for a larger family. We were in a self contained apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with our 4 children. We had an extra bed in the small sitting area so that we could all be together. The children were very happy and had access to TV. The breakfast was varied and well made by very friendly staff.
