Wilsons of Haworth was a lovely place to stay! We spent a night here and were so impressed by the comfortable, large rooms with views of the moors, the amazing location right in the heart of Haworth (within walking distance of the Bronte Parsonage Museum and the moors surrounding it, as well as the main shopping/dining area of Haworth), and the warm, friendly service from Dale and Martin! There was an lovely space to have a coffee and cake and play games if you wanted to. (Weather was good on my visit, but a godsend if it gets too rainy and windy) Breakfast was beautifully cooked, and I had a handmade cupcake on my departure. Thank you Dale and Martin for making my partners birthday a brilliant time. From the moment they greeted us we knew we had made the right choice. The Mocca room was lovely. Crisp clean and well laid out. Our breakfast was lovely and filing,especially the salmon and scrambled eggs on a lightly toasted muffin. The homebaked cupcakes were delicious. We will definitely go back. Perfect friendly people, complimentary wine in the room to enjoy in the spacious bathtub or the extra large comfortable bed with the snuggliest bedding ever. No criticisms at all. No free car parking - £4 a day in very close proximity to house. Creaky floor boards in room above, and noise from laneway adjoining room where people from restaurants return to their cars in the car park ,as late as midnight. Paying for parking. nothing. Having to pay for car parking BUT not a serious problem. nothing. for complete strangers like us it was not easy to find. Nothing. nothing. Waiting in the cold porch for 20 mins before the bell was answered. Not getting the breakfast we paid for due to not appearing until 9.20 am...on a Saturday morning!.
