  Very warm welcome and the room was excellent followed by a great breakfast in the morning. Can't rate this hotel highly enough !!! - Value for money, friendly helpful staff,clean comfortable rooms.

  The staff were very friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable and very good value for money. I also liked the fact that the hotel was quiet at night so was easy to get a good nights sleep. - The hotel staff were clearly understaffed however they were always verypolite and friendly to us.

  Hosts were very friendly welcoming on arrival. we had two rooms and both very comfortable and equipped. Beds extremely comfy.   We wanted a value-for-money place where we could arrive late and this was perfect. We had a double and 2 single rooms (allowing our grown-up sons not to share) for the same price as the budget chains with good facilities. Sleeping in the annex we were able to park outside the rooms. Happy to arrange for me to have meals in room due to having my spaniel along, and even supplying a snack for said dog! When I was delayed due to poor weather, staff waited up for my arrival and gave me a lovely warm welcome at the end of a difficult trip. Basically, make me feel as if I'm visiting with friends.

  Great location, helpful staff, warm and inviting environment in an excellent location. Building is old with character, but well maintained and appointed. - Friendly staff, willing to help with nice sense of humour. Rooms very comfortable, easy parking.
