Great place to stay the evening prior to using Euro Tunnel. Ten minutes away from the Euro Tunnel terminal. Penny and Paul could not have been more helpful. We stayed on route to Italy for our honeymoon to get an early Channel Tunnel crossing. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even gave us a map to the station. Best welcome I have ever received checking into a hotel or b&b. They went out of their way to make sure we had breakfast before catching an extremely early Channel Tunnel crossing (lovely fresh fruits, natural yogurt with muffins and cookies to take on the train). Pigeonwood House is a B & B. It was like going to stay with a friend . Mary Martin was welcoming & friendly but not overbearing so we felt completely relaxed. Views marvelous. Access via small winding country lanes - easy to get lost if you didn't have a good map.
Didn't go into Folkestone - but it is useful for onward travel

Wendy's breakfast 'sets you up for the day'. The evening meals are a good price and plentiful. The food is freshly cooked, no microwaving or instant meals here I'm happy to say. My family and I loved this hotel! It is absolutely beautiful! The staffwas very friendly and helpful. Room was large and very clean. Excellent location for the Tunnel, literally 5 minutes away. Everything as you would expect from a Premier Inn, pub and restaurant attached. Comfy bed, decent TV, tea and coffee in room.
We did have a lot of noise in the night - sounded like a door slamming all night, every few minutes. It was a very windy night but they did honour the Guaranteed Good Night's sleep and gave us a full refund without any argument. I would definitely use again.
