The hotel was convenient to both old town and new town areas. Staff was lovely and super helpful. We ate at both restaurants downstairs and really enjoyed them. The room was not huge, but it was very nice, clean, and had a large bathroom with a large walk in shower. The airport shuttle is right across the street and there are always taxis waiting outside.

The hotel building was very impressive, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was superb and the food was excellent. Ideally placed for us, as we were attending the March & Rally for Scottish Independence on Calton Hill that weekend. Very beautiful hotel in perfect location at the end of Princess Street
and not far from Calton Hill. Ideal for romantic walkings around the top
Edinburgh attractions. We spent there lovely 3 nights during Easter,
everything was good, staff very polite and helpful. Beautiful room with
all the expected facilities. I would recommend to everybody.

Right from the minute the lift opened at reception area, we were very warmly welcomed by two lovely girls who were genuinely pleased to see us.

Stayed in the Premier inn on Princess street from the 2th to 23rd of Nov 2013. The Hotel is just a 5-7min walk from the waverly railway station and is directly opposite the famous Edinburgh Castle. Although we dint spend much time in the hotel and dint get a chance to dine in, but the Hotel was very nice, Clean and had all amenities one could ask for. A value for money hotel for people travelling to Scotland and are in a mood to Explore rather than stay in!

This hotel was fantastic. The staff were amazing and could not do enough. The rooms were spotless with plenty of space and lovely bath with powerful over shower. The breakfast is excellent value for money and they have a 2 course evening meal deal for 12.75 which is a must try. The location is perfect edinburgh park rail station is across the road and is just obe stop away from edinburgh waverly (edinburghs main station) with a return ticket only costing £3. This hotel is like my view of an old hotel should be steeped in history and splendour. It was a pleasure the rooms are not modern although they do have the touches like the plasma tv and modern bathroom. Overall I would not change anything about the hotel it was perfect. My bedroom was spacious and the bed was really comfortable.
Location good - 5-7 mins walk to Princes Street and 10-15 mins walk to Royal Mile/castle.

Fabulous hotel. Staff were great, everybody was friendly and polite and went out of their way. Location is super, 2 minutes walk from haymarket station and 15 walk into Edinburgh city centre. Buses stopped outside the hotel to go to Princes street if you didn't fancy the walk. Food was good, we had breakfast and was lovely with lots to choose from. Didn't eat there otherwise but saw the food and it looked very nice. Rooms and beds clean and comfy. Great hotel.
