to forget - very friendly too)
2) Location - There cant be a better hotel than this....superb ! Perfect location - closer to the station. However, you will surely need to take a cab from the Metro to the Hotel (if carrying heavy luggage) 2nd option would be to climb around 108 steps towards the hotel (from the metro station). Taxi would not cost more than 4 Pounds from the train station.

Fabulous hotel. Staff were great, everybody was friendly and polite and went out of their way. Location is super, 2 minutes walk from haymarket station and 15 walk into Edinburgh city centre. Buses stopped outside the hotel to go to Princes street if you didn't fancy the walk. Food was good, we had breakfast and was lovely with lots to choose from. Didn't eat there otherwise but saw the food and it looked very nice. Rooms and beds clean and comfy. Great hotel.

The staff were very polite and informative.
The hotel is petite and cosy.
The rooms are amazing with some great touches and are great to relax in if travelling on business or leisure.
The location is brilliant. It is central but not right in the middle of things and a great location for getting about and seeing Edinburgh. -

The room was spacious bright and colourful with lots of lovely added
extras including free movies,mini bar drinks, robes and slippers. We
also had a massage each in the spa centre which was fantastic. The

The older gentleman working in the reception was a perfect example of hospitality and he also seemed to have a great knowledge of Edinburgh, which he shared generously.

Very suprised and impressed with this hotel, well presented and staff were polite and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet at the back of the building. Booked into restaurant for evening meal, everybodys food was excellent and again very friendly staff. Booked purely for location for Edinburgh marathon. -

We travelled by train as it was much cheaper than staying in the centre of Edinburgh. With trains every 30 minutes until late at night the 10 minutes on the train was well worth it with the Hotel just accross the main road from Newcraighall station.
