The staff was very helpful! The rooms were very tidy, clean and
comfortable. The Staff was a great help when I asked them for help. They
had the most wonderful breakfast! I had to go to the hospital & they
were very helpful in giving us the phone number to call, directions to
the hospital & gave us the down low on how there is a special health
insurance plan for tourists! Mirella is the best host!. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
The welcome was warm, the room was clean and had all the attributes of a 4* hotel, plus some. A warm comfortable bed and the room was very quiet, I probably had the best sleep for weeks. The breakfast good as you get at any 4* hotel I have stayed in up and down the country. A Great B&B, and a warm welcome to boot. I will be seeing all again soon I hope. Thanks Geoff Ogborne.Couriers Bristol.
The staff were so friendly and helpful.. The little extras that were provided was a very nice touch ie the sweets, complimentary bottled water and extra toiletries. Breakfast was excellent too, with freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh not tinned fruit.
Mirella the owner was so friendly. The rooms are equipped to a standard that would put some rated hotels to shame. It was within walking distance of most of Edinburghs main attractions. The breakfast could feed an army and was really delicious.
Great location just down the hill from Waverly Station; wonderful breakfast and attention from the owner. Back half of the house is really tranquil. We happily walked up and back several times a day.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff, good location, wonderful breakfast, interesting and different. I particularly like the walk to Royal Mile, lots of shops and restaurants on the way.
Excellent hostess, excellent breakfast, excellent facilities, excellent location.
Also, little extras like chocolates, biscuits etc in room including shoe shine kit . Nothing forgotten.
Comfortable and clean accommodation. Oh yes don't forget the
chocolates and biscuits - replenished each day. Mints in the lobby -
nice touch!Breakfasts were excellent.
#2 above says it all but I'll add that those snacks in the room added a nice touch - - esp the chocolates!!!!!!.
Our stay was made doubly good by the owner who made us very welcome. Breakfasts where amazing.
very comfortable and nice roms and Mirella was great! Perfect I would highly reccomend.
The tartan carpet. The dish of chocolates everyday.
Friendly owner and staff.
Everything was very good! Very comfortable and quiet place to stay!.
excellent breakfast choice
Friendly staff.
Good breakfast choice and well cooked. Very friendly and helpful. Free chocolates and bottled water in room. Location ok.
Room was large and a 15 minute walk from Princes Street, host was helpful and friendly.
Scottish breakfast.
Freshly squeezed OJ at breakfast.
The Cat.
Nothing.
Absolutely nothing can't fault this B&B at all.
Front room could be a bit too noisy on weekdays if you had the window open (faces a moderately busy street).
Parking or the lack thereof. Unfortunately surrounded by permit
parking. We were lucky to find a space in a lane opposite so all worked
out in the end.
I'm from The Bahamas and it tended to get cold at night. I would've preferred if the heater stayed on throughout the night.
Could not open the windows. Bathroom was very narrow, barely elbow room.
Not the nicest location even though close to Princes Street, inside quite dark due to decoration, breakfasts not that amazing, thought it was expensive for what you got.
Overpriced cluttered room.
Broken fridge in room.
Full Scottish breakfast that had been completely deep fried.
Needs some design eye TLC. Beautiful building and garden could be high end with a little bit of money spent on it.
