Very comfortable, lots of nice touches in room like toiletries, face cloth, biscuits and fridge with cans of pop in it at 50p. Slept well with black out curtains and comfortable bed. Lovely cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. Good free parking also. Friendly helpful staff. A booklet in each room giving you more information than you can imagine. The rooms were incredibly clean. Nothing was too much trouble. I was made to feel so welcome. I could not find a fault with the place.

The bed was comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I had a very pleasant stay at Cranston House. The house clean and comfortable. Brian and Aileen were very friendly and made me feel at home. The breakfast was lovely. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Friendly helpful staff/owners, set in an underrated village with a lot of historic buildings. We felt welcome and comfortable during our entire stay. I understand the reasoning but think that the age could be lower to over 4 so that you don't disturb other guests with crying babies. There was nothing to dislike.j. Really nothing to dislike. I did wake up cold in the night but realised there were extra blankets, so soon got warm again. Not sure if my heater was on in the morning, but there was a fan heater in the bathroom that was efficient. Nothing. nothing. The bed was a bit small. Needed more bedding on the bed. Beginning to look a bit shabby and tired. A redec would help.
