Originally built in 1756, Trafford Hall offers a collection of eco-chalets set amongst 14 acres of woodland. The chalets are less than 14 minutes’ drive from the city of Chester.
Inside, each of the cosy rooms at Trafford Hall features a bathroom with a shower, complimentary toiletries, fresh towels, linen and a view of the vibrant gardens.
Close to a number of golf courses, the nearest is Sandfield Golf Driving Range and Golf Course, just an 8-minute walk from the chalets.
For food, shopping and entertainment, The Grosvenor Shopping Centre is a 13-minute journey by car.
From the hall, Chester Racecourse is less than 6 miles away. Chester Zoo is just an 11-minute journey in the car and Gulliver’s World Resort is 19 miles away.
The city of Liverpool is also 31 minutes’ drive away.

The Hotel or Hostel if you wish to call it that, was in a semi rural position but only 15 mins away from the centre of Chester. The room was in a row of chalets positioned around a garden to the rear was a wooded area with an abundance of rabbiits and squirrals the room itself was very clean and warm. Tea and coffe making facilities were provided. The staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and plentiful. We sat in the TV bar in the evening after going out for a meal as no food was b. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Semi rural location surrounded by woods. Eco conscious ethics, sumptuous breakfast (and I understand the evening meals were beautiful), efficient staff, friendly atmosphere in the bar. This place was a real find.Friendly staff, clean and warm room- heating already on when we arrived. Breakfast included was substantial and immediate.
The friendliness of all the staff.
The cleanliness.

hotel background.
Cost effectiveness.
There was nothing at the trafford that I could seriously dislike. There are no TV's in the rooms which was not a problem for us but maybe thought basic by some standards.
letsbookhotel.com's misrepresentation of Trafford Hall:
1. It is a conference centre NOT a hotel. Best described as a very comfortable hostel.
2.letsbookhotel.com said there was no breakfast. There WAS breakfast.
3.letsbookhotel.com said no money would be taken from my account until my arrival. When I arrived, the money HAD been taken from my account. I was furious. Not with Trafford Hall but with letsbookhotel.com.
4.letsbookhotel.com said there was no wifi. In fact there are free Apple Macs f. No information given that evening meal was not available on site and that transport to nearby restaurants was not easily available .
Poor shower,was also leaking.
Nowhere to hang clothes in bathroom. Kettle directly under hangers but could easley be moved across room.no bedside cabinet. These are minor problems Easley fixed.
Not flash and no tv in room.
nothing.
no television in rooms, slightly dusty and dirty walls, and too far out of chester for what we wanted.
location
basic.
Lack of sound insulation between rooms, especially in the early hours of the morning, meaning there wasn't any privacy!.
Web site seems to says .7 miles from Chester taxis milometer read £12.00 each way.
