  Hotel was nice and clean, both public areas and the room. Room more spacious than most. Good leisure facilities. Enjoyable meals. - Lovely hotel with atmosphere and character. Children loved the pool and the outlook of our room was restful. Impressed with Barcelo chain and took brochure for further stays with the company.

  A real 'getaway from it all' place, with outstanding views.The back gate leads straight onto the Cotswold Way. Owners very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the 'Angus' room which was was lovely with great facilities and a lovey super king size bed which was very comfy. The bathroom had a lovely deep bath and a rain shower. They provided information on various outings were always willing to visit and fill us in on background for the area. Perfect location to use as a homebase for travel around the Cotswolds as well as trips to cities nearby. Also, the breakfast choices were superb.

  The location of the hotel was within walking distance of the racecourse and town centre we didn't use the car all weekend (the hotel had a large car park). The staff were polite and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable. Although we didn't eat in the restaurant our breakfasts were hot tasty. It is under new ownership and I would thoroughly recommend it. It is spotlessly clean and gives a great breakfast.
