Owners Michael and Fiona were an absolute delight, nothing too much trouble. Fiona even produced some rice cakes for my non-wheat-eating partner at breakfast, and Michael dropped us off in town himself when we asked about taxis. Thanks again, Michael. The bed was huge and comfortable, and it was a nice touch to offer a flask of fresh milk for tea

We were at a wedding nearby so popped over to quickly check in between events! We received a warm welcome on arrival and our room felt homely and clean. Very comfortable bed with loads of pillows and bedding good quality. Excellent breakfast next day, service very good. Fiona and Mike are a lovely couple who quickly make you feel at home. We would happily recommend Hawthorn Farm to others.

I am 6ft. 1in. tall and had no difficulties. - the penthouse apartment was really nicely decorated with attention to detail shown in the vases and pictures on the walls, and it had a lovely comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. we particularly enjoyed the jaccuzzi bath and the under floor heating which really made a difference in the bathroom
