    Rooms in a lovely old conversion out the back of the pub. Noise was not a problem. .. and I went to bed early. Room was simple but clean and nicely done. Continental breakfast available whenever as it's just downstairs and help yourself. The was one high chair that I saw. Great to have the pub next door. Food there is basic pub grub wine was ... cosa dice la gente » good. There was a singer on Friday night but if you don't fancy music there are quiet rooms. - The B&B was great. The property, the staff and the location. It is in the middle of a housing estate but once in your room it's views are rural and its so peaceful and quiet. The 18th century building is so charming. The adjacent pub serves great food and in a friendly atmosphere.

    Although the weather was wet and damp we were not inconvenienced. We, my daughter and granddaughter, had a great three days visiting Bath City, by bus, where we enjoyed the shopping, the Roman Baths and the Thermae Spa. We also visited, by car, the caves at Cheddar Gorge where again, the rain did not spoil our trip.We also walked up Jacob's Ladde... cosa dice la gente » r. It was a pleasure to know we had our very comfortable accommodation to return to and a great Menu to choose from, at reasonable prices and always - Canal side location, adjoining pub and restaurant, cycle path, quietness, helpful smiling staff, kids playground, duck waddling about right outside the door. Not noisy in the evenings despite pub outdoor seating right outside (and we stayed a Friday and Saturday night)
