  I have just moved to Bristol for work, and stayed at the yha several days while looking for accommodation. Overall, yha Bristol is a very good hostel compared to the standard. It is new and clean which is pretty rare for hostels. Showers are new and clean too. Tv lounge on the ground floor is a great concept. Excellent location and staff was very ... cosa dice la gente » friendly. - I had a great stay. The hostel had really good communal areas - more like a chic coffee house than a budget hostel. The rooms weren't quite as nice but perfectly acceptable. The wifi was good but you have to pay for it and it doesn't reach the bedrooms - only available in the communal areas. Location is fantastic.

  I booked this hotel for my 73 year old mum. Initially she was on the 6th floor (there is no lift). As soon as she mentioned it they moved her to the first floor. She thought the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. She thought the hotel was spotlessly clean with lovely rooms and decor. Local to good food establishments. A seperate but integral ultra modern bar downstairs, with also extremely friendly staff , I always enjoy staying here.
