Great room at the top floor, really spacious and with a nice seaview. One of the few actually refurbished hotels with elegant design and comfort. Situated in the heart of the fashionable Kempt Town, full of restaurants and bars while it remains quiet at night because of the huge part at the front.I will definitely come back again as it has been an amazing experience in Brighton.
The room was lovely, although a rug or two on the sanded pine floor
would have been a bonus. The room was spotless, the bathroom was lovely
and the whole place had a nice friendly atmosphere. The lime coloured
wall and theme looked especially good at night.We loved it and would

I really wanted to like this place a lot more than I did because of the excellent reviews and the manager emailed me beforehand to say he was sorry he would not be there on arrival - impressive customer service.

Great welcome from Jay and a beautifully looked after houes, brilliantly stylish and simple decor. Good wifi. A really nice and comfy place to stay in Kemp Town. Highly recommend.
The room was lovely, spacious and clean. A great way to relax. Host was friendly even phoning me to check that everything was ok.

Large comfortable bed, bright and fresh room with good view, decent space in room, friendly and helpful staff.
Fantastic location.
The statement that it had a sea view was stretching it a little
bit. You could see the sea, but only when sitting next to the bay
window. However, the view of the square, with its green area and
statue, was lovely!.
The Toilet seat for some reason was smaller than the bowl and I didn't like that I then touched the bowl when sitting down.
The lamps by the bed were very dusty.
Maybe provide earplugs for the seagulls? There was a ledge outside our window that attracted seagulls/pigeons so was up out of the bed alot scaring them off as they were so noisy.
No breakfast which is stated when booking. I would suggest just a nicely done brown paper bag of local bakery products would have been a nice touch and just sufficient.

The only things I would recommend is darker blinds on sky lights and maybe a small fridge.
Expensive (even if we did book with a few days notice), walls and floors not insulated enough.
Bedroom was dirty, table lamps had not been dusted for months, floor had not been swept.
