The inn is situated in a nice rural location. Although right on the main road into Bridgewater the traffic noise was barely audible. Friendly, helpful staff served good food with a minimum of delay. The room was clean and comfortable. I really liked the powerful shower.
staff were very good and the breakfast was the bestone we have had in a Marstons inn.

Never stayed at the admiral, but have eaten there before. The room
was lovely.

We stayed in Room 5. Lovely decorated room, comfy bed, very roomy with all the amenities you needed. Tea, coffee and water available.
The price for the three of us was very reasonable.
room cold only one bedside lamp lighting not very good.
Access to the shower was extremely difficult (would not be possible if you were even slightly overweight!).
A tad nosey, and I would have preferred a king size bed.. As not used to
sleeping in a double.

The mould on the bathroom let down the lovely room.
We also ate in the evening. The food was very poor but we had to eat and were thankful that it wasn't expensive due to the two for one offer.
Breakfast was served full of grease and tea pots were lidless.
Such a shame really as the room was perfect.
The beds were very uncomfortable and tv remote didn't work. Food was ok but slow service.
