Was greeted in a friendly manner. The room was fantastic, not only verypretty, practical and well laid out but very clean and very tidy. Even though we arrived slightly early Steve gave us a very warm welcome. The cottage is very nicely furnished with lots of homely feel. We enjoyed sitting in a quiet and beautifull garden in the heart of the countryside.
The breakfast was very good, with lots of fresh coffee. The room was large, clean and well decorated, with superb views across open countryside. A great place to stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I hadn't read my booking email properly and arrived earlier than my check-in time. I needed to get ready for a wedding and a staff member looked after me and allowed me early access to my room.

Everything ! Arriving for a one night stop in the darkness ,we overshot
the entrance and turned round by the pub about 1/4 mile further on
to ring the owner about her exact wheareabouts on the road.Bless her,
she came out into the cold night air and stood at the road entrance to
attract our attention. We were made very welcome ,had a super large
comfortable room, and she directed us back to the pub for an excellent
meal in friendly surroundings. Breakfast next morning was superb,
