The inn was as described. Staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating. The food and real ales were excellent. The pub had a very good local atmosphere.
Very convenient for touring the lake district, a car is necessary to get from Bouth however you only have to drive 10 minutes to lakeside where the Windermere Ferries depart from. Three pound

The hotel was a welcome sight in a beautiful location after a 2 hour drive from the Midlands. It provides an excellent base for touring the south lakes area, and access on to the coastline. The hotel provides great food (evening and breakfast), comfortable rooms and friendly welcoming staff. As a family of 4, we had an entertaining evening in the pub with a nice meal. Family friendly and easy to find. Would highly recommend.
