An absolute gem. The room was spotless clean and very cozy. Plenty of amenities in the bathroom as well as some lovely treats like hot chocolate and cookies provided in the room. Breakfast full of local specialties.
Overall, I was a great stay and I would definately recomend it to anyone.
the owner of the b&b is so kind, helpful & knowledgeable of the local area.He makes time to advise all the best local areas to make your stay worthwhile. The breakfast each morning was of the highest quality with great selection. We will definitely be staying here again.
The owner Simon was an excellant host. Very informative and helpful re local interests and taxis, breakfast was a delight, and a brilliant base for exploring surrounding areas. I wish I could have stayed longer, would certainly recommend for a short or longer stay.
As we stayed for four nights the 'superior' room was worth paying a little extra for, for the additional space. Location with parking permit was great: food, walks, beaches, shops, places of interest nearby.
Belmont House room was excellent with comfortable bed and the facilities were adequate.
The decor was very good throughout and reflected on Simon the owner's attention to detail.
Well run establishment with great care taken over the finer details.

Lovely room. Splendid host and chef. Great location. Top quality and excellently cooked breakfast.
This is the best B&B we encountered on our two week travel in southern England.
I liked lovely breakfast, dressing gown and provision of ear plugs.
We were made very welcome by Simon, and felt absolutely at home.
we think that beer is a lovely
pritty village.
A warm greeting and a very nice breakfast.
Service and room couldn't be faulted.
Everything was to like.
Everything.
Location, breakfast, comfortable room, knowledgeable owner.
Nothing to dislike.
there was not one thing we had to complain of..
Early mornng seagulls!! But earplugs were supplied. Also, occasional noise from near neighbours, again, not enough to spoil the stay.
Very steep stairs to all but one room.
Although there was a toilet, shower and vanity unit in the room the absence of an en-suite shower room was noticeable.
Room very small but I guess to be expected in a converted Fisherman's Cottage.
Nothing!!.
Room was on the ground floor with some morning noise and not much air
but this was not a big issue for us to be honest.
Nothing.
Bathroom too small.
